San Juan Marriott Beach Resort, Condado, Puerto Rico. Resort Review plus Dining, Nightlife, Surfing

I’m at the Marriot Resorts and Stellaris Casino in quondal Beach Puerto Rico this amazing Resorts is only 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Old San Juan while we’re here we’re going to explore some local night life and dining within walking distance as well as a

Nearby Beach that’s well known for surfing and snorkeling stick around as we explore condal Beach Between the San Juan Airport and Old San Juan lies an impressive stretch of public sandy beaches in fact all beaches in Puerto Rico are public this is one of the many things I love about this island it’s actually a law that dates back to Spanish colonial times and no matter

Where you are on the island there’s a beach to enjoy and with 270 Mi of Coastline this is truly Paradise found the beach just before you get to Old San Juan is kondal Beach this area is known for its nightlife restaurants and Resorts one of the most popular

Resorts is the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino the highlights of this Resort are a pool with a swim up bar a hot tub sauna and of course direct beach access with complimentary beach chairs umbrellas hammocks and food and beverage service this Resort also offers a weekly calendar of events which includes complimentary activities such as water

Aerobics salsa and mor dance classes yoga beach volleyball movie Nights stories and s’mores and more as a guest you will get 2 hours of complimentary bicycle use per day this area can become quite congested in the evening so I recommend an early morning bike ride it’s cooler then too if

Fitness is your thing you have access to a personal trainer and Tennis Court reservations as well with the resort fee I received a message at noon that our request for an early check-in was granted and the room was ready I was impressed since this was a busy holiday

Weekend in fact the locals love a good celebration and the holiday season stretches from Thanksgiving through Christmas and New Year’s and then Three Kings Day on the 12th day of Christmas January 6th this is the weekend we arrived however the holiday season does not end until the spectacular Festival Cay San

Sebastian at the end of January something to keep in mind if your room is not ready when you arrive it’s best to have your swimsuit and flipflops ready so you can start enjoying the pool and Beach right away upon arrival to the room although I’d booked a City View I was upgraded to

A partial Ocean View and in fact three of the four sides of the main tower have some view of the ocean I was on the 16th floor and the view was spectacular this Resort is completing a major renovation of the rooms and I must say the room looked

Terrific the room had two very comfortable king-size beds a balcony a small refrigerator coffee set hair dryer robes a safe and a very elegant bathroom the the resort also has a Lobby Bar Sushi counter and a coffee shop near the front desk although I’m sure all the restaurants are delicious we opted to

Dine out around Condado since this area is known for its restaurants our first stop was across the street to buns burgers for a quick Cheeseburger in Paradise before heading to our favorite local Beach escambron buns Burgers is a great stop for a cheeseburger and local craft beer

While listening to some soft ree music and enjoying this warm tropical day don’t forget to try one of their many hot sauces we jumped in our car that was parked in the parking garage at the Marriott Uber is readily available an Enterprise rental car is also available

Right at the resort after picking up a few items from CVS next door we headed out for adventure escom brone Beach is only a mile and a half from the hotel this unique Beach destination is just over the bridge from Condado on your way to Old San Juan this beach is unique

Because you can surf some tasty waves or snorkel calm Waters all at the same location we drove but if you’re feeling adventurous you can walk or bike there this beautiful beach is covered with coconut palms and almond trees if you look closely at the Almond Tree you will see the Almond

Fruit escam Bron Beach is $5 per car and free to walk in as soon as you pass the entrance you will see Surfers hanging out at Lao which is a very popular surf spot on the island there are showers here as well as a rack to store your

Surfboard as you enter further into the beach area you will notice there’s a protected swimming area also great for snorkeling the North Coast is notorious for having dangerous Rip Tide currents and strong waves especially during winter on a day where there was a red flag flying in front of the resort

Escambron was flying the green flag nice and calm thanks to the Rock barrier that surrounds this B AIO this is also the location of esam Bron Marine Park I saw a sea turtle when I snorkel right off this Beach scuba dog’s dive shop is also here you can rent scuba and snor gear try scuba for the first time or become scuba certified if you are interested in trying scuba diving I put a link in the description for my friend that’s a dive instructor you can take the online Patty

Course at home and come to Puerto Rico to get certified after just a couple days in the water my friend does a great job is super kind and also offers various dive trips as well as L tours around the Island there are bathroom facilities here as well as showers and foot wash stations all along this escambron park this area also has remains of the old wal City with Gorgeous views of Old San Juan from here you are only a couple miles from elmoro the famous castle

Fortress at the tip of Old San Juan after our time at the beach in Marine Park we headed back to quondal close to the Marriot resort in front of the Vanderbilt you will find one of the coolest rooftop bars on the island located on the top floor of the quaint

Boutique Hotel OLV 55 is ARA rooftop this is a great spot for cocktails and food sometimes it gets a little crowded in the evening because it’s such an amazing spot for the sunset I like coming in the midafternoon when it’s just a chill rooftop spot in the sun

With the pool as you look over the edge of the roof towards the Lagoon you will see standup paddle boards you you can rent at the condal Lagoon you can also see cruise ships in Old San Juan from this location my favorite menu item is lanesa sliders lanesa sausage originated from

The Spanish and comes from the very center of the island in Ora kovis this mountainous curvy road is known as the rout longanisa and is home to some famous restaurants with stunning views after our stop at ARA rooftop we headed back to the Maria to try our luck at the Stellaris

Casino during this stay the resort was offering a $30 match bet at the casino I gladly wagered my $30 with theirs and immediately tripled my Investment with my newfound winnings we walked the beach at Sunset and headed to a pop dining spot in kado called porito social we ordered Caritas fitas while sitting on the wooden deck overlooking Ashford Avenue many people ask me about the Tipping policy on the island it’s no different than any other tourist

Destination the cost of living here is very high if you’re able to be generous with the people that take care of you then please consider supporting them with the generous gratuiti they will be grateful after our trip to Margaritaville we headed over to Laona for a holiday celebration at the lobby

Bar with live Music [Applause] I have also recently stayed at this Renaissance Resort and I will have a video comparing these two resorts in Calo follow my channel if you would like to see when this video Premieres the following morning we went to the local hotspot panes for breakfast and Puerto Rican coffee I always get a quedito espresso cut with a little Cream we walked the area one last time in search of ice cream gift shops and rum there is also typical street food in this area as well as CVS and Walgreens I’m sure you will love Galo Beach if you come to visit San Juan this is also a great launching point for the destinations on the East Coast like Rio Grande and liio if you enjoyed this video please consider subscribing I’d be so grateful and check out my channel for more videos around the Islands
