Malaga in 48 – 72 Hours
Hi everyone welcome back to the channel today we’re in Malaga and in front of me you can see the Malaga Cathedral normally you have to pay an entrance charge but on a Sunday it is free to enter after 2 p.m. I’ve just visited inside but was unable to record due to the restrictions
Inside but I have taken some pictures and I will upload them later and we’re just on our way now to park de Malaga and we’re just on the route and these are the beautiful trees along the way lots of greenery just along the way to the park you got some souvenir
Shops they’re all dotted around you can see them everywhere in every corner and there’s this shop here selling Spanish delicacy newart as well seems popular got some cafes bars I’ve just entered the shop and they’ve got lots of different Delicacies and it smells very nice in here I must Say Got some truffles here as well they do look very delicious and tempting it’s just approaching the Museum of Malaga all the museums on a Sunday are free so you can enter and visit any Museum on a Sunday free of charge otherwise I think they’re only € or €3 per person
Entrance and this is another little square around just with some souvenir shops it’s just approaching the park depending which side you’re coming from it’s right next to the Museum of Malaga and the Alcazar which we will be visiting next so we’ve just entered the park it’s right in the city center
You can see the orange trees again but they are very sour I must warn you got benches dotted around to have a sit down take a rest this park is just full of trees and shrubs So nothing spectacular to see but just nice bit of Green Space to come and just relax have some lunch if you’ve got a pack lunch you can sit down on the benches and take a rest so just in the center of the park we’ve got this statue here which I believe was a
Commander the park is in a busy area you’ve got the main road on the left side of the park so it can get a bit noisy if you’re looking for some quiet time there are some bathroom facilities here and a small children’s play area just got a couple of slides
Really so yeah not a huge Park just a bit of Green Space and that’s the end of the park so whilst you’re in Malaga another place to come and visit is the Malaga Beach it’s about a 35 minute walk from the city center it’s a nice Sandy Beach got some sellers here selling
Some beach towels over in the far distance you can see the port that’s where all the big ships come in cruise ships got some children’s play area climbing frame in the distance you can see a little slide it’s not bad actually it’s a nice City Beach to come and chill
Out it’s got some eateries on the beach as Well so whether you’ve come for a long weekend or even if it’s a a week trip if you’re traveling around Spain it’s a nice place to Stop you can actually rent some sunbeds and an umbrella so here it’s two sunbeds plus an umbrella for €4 and the opening hours are from 10: in the morning till 8:00 in the evening so it’s not bad4 for the whole day some beautiful palm trees in the distance beach has space for everyone
It’s not that crowded and the weather is really nice today but yet it’s not packed at All so yeah a lovely Beach I would definitely recommend if you are visiting Malaga so just off the beach got these Market stalls just near the port area selling all sorts clothing souvenir got the Hard Rock Cafe so it’s literally a 2minute walk from the beach just across the road jewelry selling
Here got some handbags a nice place to wander around get a feel of what the locals are selling please like And subscribe to the channel getting another stall here selling some sun hats and some jewelry just got a bar here you can see the ship in the distance got Dunkin
Donuts if you fancy a sweet treat so yeah all in all a nice place if you’re walking through either to get to the center of Malaga or if you want to go the other way other end to the beach there’s a small children’s play area also
Just getting a bit closer to the port so I can show you a a better view we’ve got a Starbucks here as well if you fancy grabbing a coffee so this place is quite Central it’s close to the park close to the beach and about 15 20 minutes to the city
Center again please like And subscribe another great place to see when in Malaga is the famous Alazar of Malaga so we’re just approaching the entrance so normally around I think 5 per person charge but on a Sunday afternoon after 2:00 p.m. entrance is free so we’ve got the prices here if
You’re coming at a different time then Sunday 2 p.m. over here it’s just some bus numbers if you need to go to other parts of Malaga so it’s an old moish castle dating back many many years when it was under Muslim Ruling so again just walking through a few steep steps to climb up but not that bad just going to climb up some steps to give you a view so again you’ve got these beautiful orange trees Greenery on both sides as you’re walking so I’ve just climbed up a few stairs just
To get the views in and that’s the bell tower of the cathedral that you can see in the distance so again walking up is a little bit steep so just take that into consideration if you have any mobility issues hello so you’ve got beautiful views from every
Angle as they are climbing up the alas are you can see the p in the distance there well-kept Gardens along the way yeah yeah there’s a few there’s a few really really cool boats there now you got a little cafe area to get some soft drinks coffee cold water food
Sandwiches and just there in the distance you can see the bull ring where they used to conduct bull Fighting so just going up to the viewpoint right now so again the higher you go the better the Views that’s the park the bottom and just in the distance where you see people climbing that’s probably another 45 50 minute walk uphill and just there’s another viewing point where you can see DET to VI the Hall of Malaga but I have been told it’s quite a steep
Walk so again just take that into consideration if you’ve got little children or you have any mob mobility issues so just walking on the other side of the Alcazar got this beautiful garden space and again some beautiful views so now I just entered the Courtyard Area again got these orange trees So here would have been Water again you can see beautiful architecture so again just climbed some stairs up the Alcazar and Again magnificent views hope you’re enjoying the tour so far around the Alcazar of Malaga it’s definitely worth a visit please like And subscribe to the channel so you’re up to date with all the latest content just exited the Alcazar I would allow around an hour to an hour and a half
