Eastern Sierra, Little Lakes Valley Trail – June 11-12, 2024
[Music] [Music] okay I’m up at the trail head of mosquito Flats it’s a little over 10,000 ft um this is my first solo hike so I’m excited short uh we’ll find out if little Lakes Valley is uh the best short hike in the Eastern Sierra so uh come along for the ride and we’ll let you know [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay I’m about A4 Mile in and uh the views are already starting looks awesome quite a few people at the beginning of the trail here but it looks great [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] and [Music] okay it’s about 6:00 and uh got the tent set up and the camp and took a little rest and I’ll probably get some dinner started here and uh yeah just enjoy the evening it’s really really nice here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right it’s morning of day two and uh it’s about 7:30 a little bit cold last night but not too bad um yeah great Camp Spot Great uh great area up here so just getting ready to pack up and head out [Music] [Music] all right just finishing up the trail uh pretty easy it was uh 4 miles in stay of the night 4 miles out I would say uh this this Trail is extremely beautiful it’s very accessible from Rock Creek and uh obviously because of that you’re going to see a lot of people out here but um man a lot of firsttime Backpackers a lot of families um just seeing a lot of folks with their dogs it was very cool so definitely recommend little Lakes Trail and uh I’m starting work next week so I wanted to get one more quick little trip in thanks for watching sh
