HOW TO LUNCH in san sebastian | pintxo tour of old town
come with me for an amazing pintxo tour of san sebastian as i eat my weight in pintxo
the first bar i stopped at is the home of the original pintxo the gilda
it is called casa valles——— https://maps.app.goo.gl/PKemxesMMRmKnuQC8
the gilda here is the origanl, maybe not the best ever but surely a must visit for the atmosphere and history
next stop on the list was gorriti taberna—— https://maps.app.goo.gl/dpMc2wRhJBnd5WAa9
home to hearty breakfast sandwiches and all sorts of head cheese skewers the veal snout was a delightful surprise
I then moved on to el tamboril——— https://maps.app.goo.gl/j7CadJcicDSjBuQGA
a specialty there is there mushrooms and are genuinley amazing and flavourful but do not sleep on the conserved tuna
the final pintxo stop was gandarias—— https://maps.app.goo.gl/UiwwwSPHCvgNuxJ1A
these have a huge array of meat skewers and there grilled sirloin is an essential must have.
after all of these pintxo i was stuffed and decided to end with something sweet so i stopped off at poco loco—– https://maps.app.goo.gl/cCy8tEcoJTVHWNMH8
for an amazing frozen yoghurt dipped in chocolate
san sebastian is a dream foodie destination and if you feel a little overwhelmed to go to the hustling busy bars and tabernas on your own then grab a guided tour with get your guide.
i use get your guide alot when travelling to countries to better learn the culture and history of the foods and area.
this is a great tour——- https://gyg.me/Wcfpp76n
