We are lucky enough to visit and enjoy this absolutely beautiful and stunning island – Formentera. Who would have thought: just 30-min ferry ride away from the party island Ibiza, there lies a peaceful and tranquil island with probably the most beautiful beach that I have ever visited (Playa de Ses Illetes).

So beautiful that we had to come back the next day!

Our accommodation for the trip was based in Ibiza and so to get to this wonderful island, we had to take a short ferry ride. From the port, Playa de Ses Illetes is just 10-15 minute ride away.

Car / Motorbike rental is recommended. Motorbike rental can be found anywhere once you arrived in the island. For car rental, we used a company called “Formentera Rent Car”, which we found very professional and efficient!
