PINTXOS COOKING CLASS, SAN SEBASTIAN

My second Basque Country video is all about food. Well, pintxos specifically. Pintxos are the food of choice across Bilbao, San Sebastian and the rest of the Basque Country, so I was very excited when I got the chance to join a pintxos cooking class workshop and learn about how to make some of my favourite pintxos.

We made my favourite Gilda pintxo, we learned how to make mayonnaise, and finally the party piece: spiky ‘urchin’ prawns. All the recipes are in the blog link below!

  1. Love the intro! I should know what goes into Mayo as I had a demo in Menorca! Hmm olive oil!?
