BODEGAS PUENTE DEL EA: NATURE, LANDSCAPE AND LIFE IN SAJAZARRA (RIOJA ALTA).

Puente del Ea is a boutique winery located 520 metres above sea level on the banks of the River Ea in Sajazarra, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, in the district of Haro, the westernmost and highest point of Rioja Alta.

Inspired by the natural environment and the diversity of its fauna, they make terroir wines full of freshness and authenticity, life and pleasure. These wines are signed by Julien Viaud, an agronomist, viticulturist, oenologist and international consultant who has been part of Michel Rolland’s team for more than 15 years and is now the head of Laboratoire Rolland & Associés. He is the epitome of the new generation of consultants working in both viticulture and oenology. Working alongside Julien is Ana Gonzalo, from La Rioja, as head winemaker in a project led by Rodrigo Madrid, the winery’s manager.

Puente del Ea’s wines are a tribute to the land, with its native animals as protagonists. They speak of tradition and the future, of roots and history. With designs that show the natural environment in all its richness, they express in each sip the essence of a unique place in the world.

Another range produced by the winery is Eridano. Following a line marked by tradition, quality and innovation, these are more classic wines that speak of territory and landscape, but also of bridges that unite passions, friendships, testimonies… people. Bridges that bring places closer together, that connect paths and communicate emotions.

A symbol that sums up their open, dynamic and global vocation, with which they want to share their love for the land, the vineyard, its fruit and the beauty of a unique region such as Rioja Alta.
