The breathtaking Plaza de España is the most famous square in beautiful Seville. Several buildings were designed for the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929 in and around the Maria-Luisa Park.
The Plaza de España has been used as a filming location: Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Star Wars movie series Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), The Dictator (2012).
The plaza was used as a set for the video of Simply Red’s song “Something Got Me Started”.
