Add these activities to your Seville itinerary

1. Visit Plaza de España – make sure you allow time to watch a flamenco performance(or two) They’re free to watch but donations are welcomed

2. Book a guided tour of the Real Alcazar – prepare to spend at least 2-3 hours here (I was there for four), Book your tickets In advance to avoid long waiting lines, and note that you need to show photo ID when entering. Ps. Pack your patience – it gets busy!

3. Visit Casa Pilatos – this is a good option if you aren’t up for the crowds at the Alcazar. I was here at 10:30, mid-week (in November) and had the rooms to myself for the most part

4. Watch a show at the flamenco dance museum – combine your show ticket with the museum visit.
I paid £25 for an hour long Show, then got to visit the museum afterwards, which felt like a bargain and heads Up – they don’t allow you to record or take photos during the performance

5. Walk to the top of La Giralda – I wouldn’t recommend the walk up in swelteringheat, not unless You want to arrive a sweaty Mess, and wear sensible shoes! You need to walk Up 35 steep-ish ramps to get to the top, and there aren’t any handrails

6. Sample the goodies at Triana Market – make sure you come on an empty stomach! there’s a few sit-down spots that do tapas, but when I was there, they were all packed. But don’t worry they also have food stalls where you can grab small bites and chill in a little seating area if you don’t fancy walking and eating

7. Visit The Palace of the Countess of Lebrija – the best part, in my opinion, is the upstairs, which You can only visit on a guided tour that happens every hour, So make sure you time your visit accordingly! It’ll Save you hanging about for the next one

8. Visit Las Duenas Palace – allow yourself a enough time to walk around and take it all in, this is a tranquil, Peaceful place, and listen to the audio guide, you’ll get more out of your visit
