Day hikes in Basque Country. Northern Spain Hiking. Near Bilbao, San Sebastián, Orduña, Guernica
Our vacation video and a few things we learned along the way. Two Canadians go to Northern Spain, Basque Country, to go hiking and explore this beautiful part of the world – Hiking – In Bilbao, Mirador Arraiz. Nice lunch spot with horses, cows and short hiking trails. In Orduña, Ermita de la Virgen hike. A nice day hike to a beautiful lookout. We actually loved hiking in the rain. Near Orduña, Gorbeia Parke Naturala. We saw the sheep up the mountain on trail 3. In San Sebastián, Monte Urgull. Many trails on this little mountain. We were ready for beach sitting. Next trip we want to see more of Monte Urgull. In Bermeo, Gaztelugatxe and Matxitxako. We didn’t know the Matxitxako hike existed until we got there. Gaztelugatxe was fun, but the hike was really beautiful. Plus exploring Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, La Concha beach, Bay of Biscay, Guernica, Euskal Herria Museoa, Zubizuri Zubia bridge and Bilbao in the morning. We are not professional YouTubers.
