Set at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, The Petit Hotel Alaró has been our Mallorca base since 2018. Far from popular tourist spots, the small town of Alaró is quaint, with narrow cobbled streets and traditional Spanish charm. The proximity to the quiet countryside and beautiful mountain roads makes this bike- and hike-friendly hotel a fantastic home for the week. Settle in with a Spanish red wine in the flower-filled courtyard and indulge in authentic, chef-prepared meals.
Expect challenging days on Sa Calobra and long mountain ascents balanced by mellow, rolling inner-island rides featuring significantly less climbing. No matter the route, you’re guaranteed spectacular views and café stops for espresso, pastries, or traditional Spanish treats.
Off the bike, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the local Mallorcan culture and experience the traditional food and wine of the region.
