    Only 3 hours after landing in Barcelona we succumbed to a clever scam! Don’t be sucked in like we were! Thankfully the trip got far better after that initial shock. If you are new here we are Caroline and Pete, and in 2021, after 10 years living in Texas, we sold up and moved back home to the UK to live full time aboard a 60ft narrowboat, One Day More, with our West Highland Terriers!       Great see Barcelona again as we went last year in November lovely and warm n sunny but we had a similar experience to you in the prices in restaurants learning curve we found other then that we liked it a lot and definitely will return. For sharing your trip with us 😊❤

      Yowza on the cost of those drinks! So happy to see your in depth of the trip. My friend was there about the same time but I think you had a lot more fun! She was on a Catholic church tour of Barcelona, Venice and Rome. 😊 I am obsessed with Gaudi so I was more than a bit envious of all of you.
      😀 As a vegetarian I don't think I'd do well on food there. Quite a bit of it looked horrifying to me. Pastries looked great though! ❤

      Your vlogs are always amazing but this was next level. Just read some of your comments saying this vlog should be used by Spanish Tourist Board and I agree.
      It’s so obvious what a great time you all had. Loved Anthonys faces when all that fish was about. Some of you definitely didn’t need to be eating farto’s though 😂.
      Shame you got ripped off at the beginning of your holiday but looks like you made up for it after that.

      Amazing vlog .I’ve visited Barcelona several times , it’s a lovely city . Watching the vlog was a reminder of how much I’ve enjoyed each visit there … one of the visits was a school trip , we had 80 children with us . Thanks again

      ❤Gaudi’s tower first seen the most beautiful name I’ve ever heard and it was wrote twice that I saw JESUS going up into the tower through your app. It look like a little bed and then looking out like a little piece of heaven. He must’ve been a very inspiring man because he was very imaginative. A truly magical trip you all got to go on, from the wonderful food and places. Thank you for taking me along on this journey. 🥳

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for sharing the delights of Barcelona and warning of the scam possibilities. We are so lucky having the breadth and depth of all Europe on our doorstep! So lovely to sit eating breakfast in the fresh air while watching the world go by. I'm afraid I'm with Anthony when it comes to fish 🤧 – and I was born and raised at the seaside! After strolling in perfect sunshine for almost a week it must have been hard to return to the wet, cold and windy weather we suffered last year – and are still suffering. Who looks after Poppy and Hamish when you get opportunities like this? Once again, thank you so much for including us on your break to Barcelona . . . I can hear Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing in my mind!!! xx

      Loved this – currently Im pretty much stuck in my house (wheelchair/access issues) so getting to see brilliant videos that really give you a proper feel of a place like this is amazing, thankyou for taking the time to share your holiday. Btw I am with Antony… fish are not food, gross!!

      Gaudí's style is so idiosyncratic that it's timeless. There's nothing 1910-ish about his work apart from the fact that skilled craftsmen were then two a penny and are now unaffordable. What a lovely city though, and well done for just hedonistically enjoying the food in very good company!

      What a Fab vlog! Barcelona looks like such a neat city and your travel log of it is splendid. The food looked delicious. What a great way to spend it with friends. I wish we were thirty years younger so we could visit in person but alas being in our eighties our long distance travel day are over. Thank you for taking us along….
