Being Curious at Plaza Espana | Sevilla ► I met these two people while I was filming my Sevilla Travel Guide video. What an amazing Plaza. There are often statues and plaques around like this, to tell you more about the history of a place. As you say, open your eyes, but also engage your brain, and you'll get a lot more out of it. I usually like to "nerd up" on a place before I go so that I can get the most out of it.
