Best Food I’ve ever tasted, First Michelin Experience, San Sebastian 2025

Welcome to Donostia San Sebastian, Spain!

Hubs and I were here a few years ago, right after we got married and we absolutely fell in love with the place. Not only for it’s charm and beauty, but also for it’s amazing food scene. San Sebastian has the second most number of Michelin Star restaurants per capita on the entire planet! So for our 6th year anniversary, hubs and I knew exactly where we wanted to go. This time, we are joined by my best friend and her husband, my cousin, who loves the city more than anyone else I know. He took us to some of his favorite food spots including Portuetxe, Amelia, Narru, Borda Berri, Ganberra, Asador Joxe Mari in Orio and Casa Julian in Tolosa. The food was definitely out of this world. From tasting menus to pinxtos, my mouth and tummy were happy campers. Save this video for the next time you visit this magical place!
