Home to the Kings of Spain, Madrid’s Royal Palace takes us on a journey through the history of Spain. Though it is no longer the royal family’s home, it continues to be their official residence. Adjacent Plaza de Armeria is a spacious, historical plaza, and a popular place to view the architecture of the Royal Palace. Right between the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, is an observation deck offering stunning views of Campo del Moro Park and Casa del Campo Park on the west side.
