Real Life GAME OF THRONES Location | Dorne | Alcazar Palace Seville

The Alcazar of Seville was used as a location for scenes in Season Five of the hugely successful HBO TV series, Game of Thrones, watched in an estimated 170 countries.
Parts of episodes 2, 6, 7 and 9 were shot in the UNESCO World Heritage-recognized palace complex in October 2014, and the season was first aired in April 2015 and released on DvD in March 2016.
The location from George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books which the Alcazar represents is the Water Gardens of Dorne, private estate of the House of Martell.
