A POPULAR CATHEDRAL VISITED BY TOURISTS – Spanish-Era San Sebastian Church in Downtown Bacolod

San Sebastian Cathedral is a late 19th-century Roman Catholic Church in Bacolod, Negros Occidental in the Philippines. It is the seat of the Diocese of Bacolod. It is one of the most famous religious tourist spots in the City of Smiles. Walking tour inside the interioirs of this old structure that is part of the Cinco Noviembre Revolution. This is also a destination for pilgrimage of Bacolodnon parishioners during Holy Week (Pentecost season from Palm Sunday to Good Friday to Easter Sunday). Beside the old structure is the Bishop’s Palace where the bishop and other priests reside. The Spanish-era Cathedral is built just adjacent to the City of Smile’s public plaza. This religious building is closed at night.
