Discover the MAGIC of Winter in Sequoia National Park with General Sherman Tree Hike

In this video, we take you through discovering the magic of winter in Sequoia National Park, California — one of the most magical national parks in the U.S., especially when it’s covered in snow!

Before heading up into the mountains, we stopped to install snow chains on our tires — an essential step during snowy conditions in the Sierra Nevadas. As we drove higher into the park, the scenery transformed into a winter wonderland straight out of a Hallmark movie, with thick layers of snow blanketing the road and towering trees all around us.

Our destination: the legendary General Sherman Tree — the largest tree in the world by volume, and estimated to be between 2,200 to 2,700 years old. We explored the snow-covered trail leading to this ancient giant and took in the peaceful, awe-inspiring sights of nature in its purest form.
