We made it down to Casa De Campo in the Dominican Republic for our next travel series and are switching things up. It’s our first time playing a shamble and it couldn’t have been a better match. The first place we played is one of the most underrated courses the outside the U.S. in Dye Fore.

I stayed here for our honeymoon 20 years ago. I am a golfer. My wife thought that only Republican, rich people assholes played golf. I gave her Golf in the Kingdom to read to see if she had a golf spirit. She did. We went to the driving range and gave her a little instruction and let her go. Soon, I heard the 8 degree driver going ping, ping. Hitting it like 150 right down the middle. So the next day in the afternoon I find the starter, give him $100 and say don't let anyone follow us too closely. He says, no problem. We get to the 5th hole. The par 3 over the water which scares the shit out of every golfer. She hits the driver right on the green and gets a par! We finish 9 holes. She shoots a 57! First time in her life playing golf. I say, this is it, let's have some lunch and cocktails. We do. Then, I get a couple more cocktails and say, let me show you what golf is really all about. We drive out to like the 16th hole. Take off our shoes. Get all my ProVi1 balls out of the bag and proceed to hit them into the ocean. One wonderful golf experience at that great golf course. Ah, you guys are not playing The Teeth of the Dog. A pity.
