Sandakan Heritage Trail

Sandakan, sometimes known in its early days as Elopura, was the Capital of North Borneo for over 60 years prior to the end of WW2, when it was badly damaged. It has a long history but the Heritage Trail leads you around places taking you back to it’s early days as a city. We share a few here, with a couple of extras thrown in for good measure.
