TRUCK CAMPING and KAYAK ADVENTURE
In this video I explore a new area to camp. I decided last minute to pack my gear and head out to a friends cottage that has a separate area for me to camp. I loaded the kayak and hit the highway.
I travelled to a bay along the Big Rideau and set up camp. I arrived later in the day as I left after work so it was time to make dinner shortly after I arrived. The problem was that I FORGOT my CAMPSTOVE !! Luckily I had my compact stove tucked away in my camp pot!
By the time I finished dinner it was late so I sat for a few minutes to enjoy the sunset over the lake, however the bugs were INSANE forcing me to take shelter in the tent.
The lake was so calm in the morning that I had to set out for a paddle. The the fishing was slow with two little fish but the kayaking was perfect.
Camp breakfast was delicious however it was time to pack up and head home.
