Are you near or in OR yet? All the best….💯👍
Ha,that was not a swim, that was a dip in the water!
Love the variaty of trees in California, those big ones are redwoods?
Evolution Valley ?
Was getting withdrawal issues. Nice to see you back
❤🎉 💪
Beautiful scenery – wondering, is it Evolution Valley or Elevation. Please clarify.
It's called Evolution Valley 🤔
Evolution in early May is a sight to behold.
That's "Evolution", not "Elevation"!
Out of Florence lk, we crested Seldon pass on a loop trip in/out of bear basin. Jumped in/out of salley keys, heart, and Marie lks that day.
Thanks for letting me re-live those memories. Oh, we did a side quest off the main drag over to rose lk for the night.
So the profile for mosquitoes in the Sierra as has been explained to me by rangers is June July most of August is brutal the extreme cold is gone the snow is melted for the most part around running water and lakes ; so we have infestations from an exploding population of mosquitoes. You’re in hatch season . The best time from Sierra adventures with way less infestation and possible Zika is second week of September- late October. The lakes and creeks are beautiful, the camping near water; but they come with a price, horrendous hassle if your not constantly moving . I wouldn’t do it anymore in the summer .
I'm glad you are enjoying your journey and your own pace and love being included when we can. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along!
Have you gotten to that river that was so deep last year, you wondered how someone 5 feet tall would cross it?
I know you're posting late, but I was just on that section of trail (Piute/JMT) yesterday. Back over Pine Creek Pass to civilization today. My GF and I hiked a resupply bucket over Pine Creek Pass and dropped it off at MTR for our JMT through hike in a few days. Great video as always.
It's Evolution Valley not "elevation". And I hear ya and like your attitude about perspective! Happy Trails 🙂
