Madrid completely stole my heart. 🖤 In this unforgettable solo trip, everything miraculously fell into place. I unexpected reunions with friends, wandered the halls of the iconic Prado Museum, ate some of the best food of my life, and stayed out until sunrise in the heart of the city. I braved the extreme summer heat, was deeply moved by an emotional flamenco performance, and remembered why Madrid is somewhere special and unforgettable.

I wish more hotels would allow customers to come early. It would be relaxing to have nice views and music. The meat at the first restaurant looked great. McDonald is fine anywhere.

What a fun trip. So nice. You got to meet up with your crew, and I had no idea that jetblue flew to madrid. I'm husky, the only things that we bring back from London are crumpets and British chocolate and uh porridge oats. So inexpensive there

Is ok to eat McDonald… when we take such a long / expensive trip the last thing we want is to be stuck in the hotel with upset stomach…
So we go 50/50… eat local stuff but play it safe …
We loved Madrid … but go to Copenhagen/ Tokyo also!!!

Great video! Loved seeing your view of Madrid. Also, you came during a great time. July-August it's Rebajas season (summer sales!) The Euro is actually pretty high at the moment compared to last year. Right now it's $0.86 to the Euro vs last year it was $0.96. Doesn't seem like a big difference but it is! If you are still in the EU, make sure to save your receipts and get your money back for sales tax on your items upon leaving 🙂

I've been watching your videos for quite some time now, but this is a first to comment. Two points to make, first, the little black dress is beautiful. It was perfect for the evening you had, but should be great for many future evenings out. Second, the filming around Madrid flooded my memory of locations I've walked about when visiting the beautiful city. It is amazing to me to recognize locations that I've been to only once, many years ago, but still seem so vivid in my mind. For example, Plaza Major I recognized immediately and thought of the bullfight bar (I call it that) in the one corner just as you enter or leave the plaza (North West direction if I recall). Thank you for sharing your travels with us.

Oooh, I hope you didn't have an issue with moving the items in the mini bar. Normally, they have sensors and if you move it you buy it. Hotel is beautiful.

I went to Madrid on January and planning to go back for February next year. Can’t wait . the vibe of the city and the people I just can’t explain. And Vera dont worry about Mc Donalds. Everyone need to try Mc Donald in every vacation. I got 3 rules went I travel 1 eat a authentic meal and Gambas in Madrid is a most 2 visit a supermarket and 3 dont miss Mc Donalds .
