Exploring Sequoia’s Giants + Breathtaking Moro Rock Hike! Sierra Nevada, CA
I want to share with you one of my new favorite refreshing drinks in this hot weather. Basically just some filtered water, a little bit of stevia instead of sugar, a few slices of cucumber, and a couple of slices of lemon. In my case, it’s dehydrated, but it’s going to sit in there a while before I drink it. I’m going to put it in the fridge and go for a hike, and when I come back, it’s going to be so cold and refreshing. And it is delicious. And the nice thing is is that you can add more water later. So you can use this at least one more time, maybe even two. Just keep adding to it. Yum. Heat up here. Heat up here. No more pine trees. Seoia Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat. And this is the cone of the giant sequoia. This little bitty thing. This is kind of a large one. And all the seeds. Yeah, all the seeds have dropped out. So hopefully a seoia tree will take root here one day. I think this one is the president’s tree. Heat up here. Heat up here. Heat up here. I’m camped here in the Sequoia National Forest. I’m probably at about 7,000 ft. Um, Studley Van is wrapped up like a burrito. This tarp was um a gift from a nomad friend and uh yeah, it’s an absolute lifesaver. breeze can go through it and it reflects the sun and it brings the temperature down enormously. See this like got little holes in it. Love this thing. This is El Marorrow Rock behind me. 350 steps to the top. Lots of people down the hill. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Dr. You got me. You’re welcome. Imagine there was in 197 I’m not getting a picture. I’m just walking to the end and back. Sorry. Excuse me. Thank you. No problem. I think someone was touching the Don’t know. Don’t Hey, hey, hey. Hey, don’t know. Heat.

thanks for making that climb to the top of Moro Rock for me, i'd never make it. 🙁
Thank you for sharing your amazing life. Love your videos.😊
Many, many, many thanks, Roxy, for the trip down memory lane. 👍👍👍 In early July 1968 my new bride and I visited, and were awed by, the giant sequoias you visited in this video. But we skipped Moro Rock because of the extreme Independence Day crowds. Sorry to be nit-picky, but the NPS says the General Sherman's 100-foot width per your caption at 2:15 into the video is actually the circumference.
Wow! The things we do for love.
