summer in mallorca | palma, soller and valldemossa

[Music] If you’ve ever wished to get lost somewhere but never quite knew where to begin, I’d say the island of Morca is the perfect place to start. And our plan for the third day was exactly that, to fulfill our craving for adventure. [Music] No, [Music] not longer after a quiet intake of sugar and caffeine, a bus was already waiting to take us on our journey. A backpack, a pair of sunglasses, and some comfortable shoes. That’s all we needed. We got off in So, our first stop of the morning. Orange trees, stone buildings, and artisan shops stood open, ready to welcome us in. The sun lit up the floor of Blaster Deio. [Music] People laughed and chat and the gentle clicking of cups on sources filled the air. [Music] The town felt alive, warm, inviting, and tender. We were happy to see we weren’t the only ones strolling through the streets, admiring how beautiful the day was unfolding. Soon enough, we began wandering down quiet alleyways in search of a more peaceful corner to explore. Cats, artwork, and delicate details appeared on floors, in shops, and even on doors. We couldn’t help but be surprised by the sight of closed houses offering lemons and other goods on doorsteps in exchange for small donations, trusting the passerby would be kind and generous in return. About 10 minutes into our wandering, we stumble upon a small farmers market filled with the most precious goods from England. seeds, oil, spices, meats, bread, and olives. Everything that hurt and threes could offer. We both picked up something for our families before continuing on. [Music] Not long after, food called us. Maybe it was everything we had seen at the market. Maybe it was watching other eat or simply the delicious smell in the air. Either way, we stopped for a break and a bite to eat. We walked through our next steps, then set off again. And that’s how we arrived in Baldosa. An hour later, even warmer and brighter, the weather blessed us with a stunning view of the sea, and the surrounding nature filled the air with summer magic. As soon as we stepped off the bus, we could feel the town’s vibrant energy. Beige and brown buildings, green trees arching over restaurant tables, and colorful drinks. The place felt alive. Shops displayed vibrant plates and handmade souvenirs in every corner. Bagamosa sits slightly elevated, giving it even more charm with its climbs, narrow stairs, and winding hallways. We walked all the way to Plaza de la. [Music] Then made our way down again until we reach Mira. We were met with a breathtaking view of the hills and mountains surrounding the town. [Music] We were surprised by how peaceful and beautiful it was. Stone brick and terraotta blended together to shape the streets and houses of this mall Mayor York. And I think I took a little too much cuz my heart feels like it’s going to stop. Please just stay the night. Stay the night. Stay the night. [Music] Before the sun set, we caught our third bus back to Palma. Tired but in awe of the island’s beauty, we ended the day with dinner at a traditional restaurant in the city center. [Music] Over [Music] sangria and share bites of food, we reflected on how incredible it all felt and how sad we were that the trip was already coming to an end. [Music] Since we live in different countries, Tia left the hotel before I did. A few hours later, it was my turn. And what better way to spend my last moments than a slow morning at a cafe. [Music] After packing my things, I tried to clear my mind off all the emotions and memory has been so lucky to experience. This vacation felt like exactly what I had been missing over the past few months. Time spent without a fixed plan, away from screens, letting my surroundings and feelings guide me. [Music] I was truly blessed by my dear friend’s presence, energy, and love. I couldn’t have asked it for a better way to start the summer. [Music] Thank you for coming along with me. See you next time. [Music]

if you had ever wished to get lost somewhere but never really know where to start from, i’d say the island of mallorca is probably the best place to do so. And our plan for our third day was exactly to fullfill our desire for adventure. No longer after intaking a discrete amount of sugar and caffeine, a bus was awaiting for us to start our journey.
A backpack, a pair of sunglasses and some comfortable shoes were all we needed.
