Hi all! In this vlog we spend 48 hours in Madrid, Spain’s historic capital city. We visit the most iconic locations and landmarks around the city, as well as immersing ourself in the local culture by visiting a flamenco show!
Highlights from this trip include; Royal Palace of Madrid, El Retiro Park, Madrid’s oldest restaurant, Plaza Mayor and a fantastic free walking tour where we learnt a lot about the history of Madrid.

The impressive Royal Palace the largest of Europe with 1.450.000 sq ft; 135.000 m2 and 3418 rooms with thousands of paintings of great masters ; the best Royal Armory of the world; value objects and the largest collection of Stradivarius; another essential for me is a Egiptian temple of Debod it is a integrated in a beatiful park and a night the place is magical;
Visiting the museums of Madrid if you can is something is also essential the " Museo del Prado" the best art gallery in the world next to Parisian Louvre and is iconic masterpiece of masterpieces the Velazquez Menina's among a multitude of great paintings; Thyssen museum whyt is a impressive collection of masterpieces of 13 to the.19th century mainly for here works by Van Gogh
;Canaletto;Picasso etc or the Reina Sofia museum with the top work of Picasso's paintings the " Guernica" and many so much; so that these three museums named " Triangle of Art" next to the beatiful Retiro park are so UNESCO heritage sites ; and the typical beatiful and monumental " Plaza Mayor" etc..; there is a lot to see in Madrid; greetings

Lovely city, particularly liked the park you visited and what a great hotel to stay in .. always lovely to have your own balcony and that rooftop pool would be a great bonus during a summer stay.

I am living in Madrid since last Summer and it is an amazing city full of art and life and it is also a gorgeous and stylish city. .Alingside London Madrid is definitely my favourite city in Europe

Travel to Spain and not taste cortado coffe, bombon, con leche etc is incredible. But not taste spanish delicious food, spanish tortilla, bravas, croquetas, albóndigas, al ajillo, ibérico ham, chorizo etc is a crime 😂😂
Did you use a museum pass?
BEAUTIFUL video, cinematics and that transition 🤯 0:28 was crazy good, I really enjoyed everything… you were short in time as many visitors that underestimate Madrid… More Gran Vía, Plaza de Canalejas, Plaza de la Villa, Puerta del Sol, Santiago Bernabeu, Museo del prado + Real Jardin Botánico + Paseo del Prado (World Heritage Area), Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Santa Ana… were not covered but will be there for your well deserved second visit 🙂

Where did you get that nonsense about the rooms in the Oriente Palace were built for the king to change rooms everyday? The royal palace was intended not only for hosting the royal family (and his numerous staff) but, more importantly, all the beaurocracy needed for the gvmt of the Spanish Empire.
Yeah, there are no vegan options in Madrid presumably since they only produce about 50% of the veggies in the UE. Have you heard of olives (some thirty varieties, maybe the most typical tapa of them all), fried almonds, toasted peanuts, aspargus, pickles (tons of them as well), Padron peppers, aubergines from Almagro, potatoes with alioli, mushrooms, pisto…? Come on.
Just booked a holiday there.. obviously i am interested in the art and history. However being 19 i am curious is there good nightlife with a bit of a "party vibe" too?
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
