Wandering in the world’s largest art museum and a historic monument, Louvre Museum. Click here ▶ to see highlights and guide.
The Louvre is not only one of the best art museums in the world, it’s also one of the biggest. There are 35,000 objects on display out of a collection of 380,000. This walking tour features part 1 of the Louvre Museum in Denon Wing. First, a walk around before accessing the museum floor. Further on, a great display of the Greek and Roman antiquities and its famous statues; Aphrodite, Vénus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace and The Virgin and Child with four Angels . Followed by the decorative arts (paintings) area from Spain, France, Italy including the Mona Lisa.
Unfortunately, the day that I recorded this virtual tour, it was extremely busy due to bad weather. But normally the museum is rather peaceful and quite. I sincerely encourage you to visit the Louvre Museum one day. If you do, make sure to purchase your tickets at the official Louvre Museum website, direct link:

Who's house is this??
I managed to see the Mona Lisa without crowds, circa 2017. This video showed me what I avoided. Notice the lack of staff throughout the musuem… only in a very few areas. Very surprising to those of us who live in cities where the art museums are heavily staffed with people watching all the time to ensure the art is not touched or damaged. For me, the highlight of the entire collection is Michelangelo's sculpture, "Dying Slave." Can see it here only in the background, from the side, at 48:59. The companion sculpture, "Rebellious Slave" is the statue in the foreground.
Amazing I was there
Question; I have read that it is forbidden to take pictures, but I see people do this. Is it only for some artwork, allowed in some rooms, not all..?
It is too noisy 😮
Good quality! It’s a pity we can’t see the pieces descriptions to know names and inf.
I am literally cry over how beautiful the paintings and art. If only I can see something like this in person.
Someday
美術館にパーカーなんて。て、私もジーンズ失礼でも旅行だし。
one day,i'll visit with my favourite person!
A vow of silence should have to be taken upon entering, and only low level whispering if necessary.
Enough jibba-jabba, shutup and contemplate what you are seeing.
This was fantastic!
I was there today omg what a place ❤ most beautiful Museum in the World
Thanks for sharing … I recently visited a museum here in Ireland and would like to share it too… check this out! } https://youtu.be/cl5UeGFS9Gs
In 1866, when the French army withdrew from the island of Ganghwa Island in Korea, they took Korean historical relics and materials with them. France displays cultural heritage looted from other countries.
Is that the Louvre Museum?
Is the Louvre a stolen property?
46:02 Monalisa com um saguão todo só dela 😮
Various paintings are displayed in the museum and I want to see them in person. I think I can go someday. If I see it in person, I think I can get a grander feeling than watching it on video.
Great video and to everyone who reads this I pray your darkest days are behind you and your life is filled with love , happiness, and prosperity – You're The BEST 💝
