Hiking in Sierra Nevada Spain: 3 Highest Peaks Challenge (Veleta, Mulhacen, Alcazaba)

We went hiking in Sierra Nevada, Spain, for 4 days to summit the 3 highest peaks in the national park, Pico Veleta (3398 m), Mulhacén (3479 m – the highest on the Iberian Peninsula), and Alcazaba (3369 m). Of course, it didn’t go by without its challenges, but with these incredible landscapes, it was the hike of our lives! While others might do it in less time, we chose to take our time, follow our own fitness level, and of course, keep in mind that Baby Atlas is only 1 year old and was on his first multi-day trek (Spoiler Alert, he hiked like a champ!)
