Hiking in Sierra Nevada Spain: 3 Highest Peaks Challenge (Veleta, Mulhacen, Alcazaba)
We went hiking in Sierra Nevada, Spain, for 4 days to summit the 3 highest peaks in the national park, Pico Veleta (3398 m), Mulhacén (3479 m – the highest on the Iberian Peninsula), and Alcazaba (3369 m). Of course, it didn’t go by without its challenges, but with these incredible landscapes, it was the hike of our lives! While others might do it in less time, we chose to take our time, follow our own fitness level, and of course, keep in mind that Baby Atlas is only 1 year old and was on his first multi-day trek (Spoiler Alert, he hiked like a champ!) Come with us and explore some of the most magical landscapes in Spain!

What a beautiful hike, these shots are breathtaking my friend! Wow 😮
Great hike….. recommendation came up on you tube and as I walked Mulhacen many years ago (2007) had to watch. We based ourselves in Capileira and had a wonderful few days hiking the Porquiera Gorge and surrounding areas before doing Mulhacen. Fond memories. Lovely footage and you got so close to some of the wildlife.. do you know what the bird as you saw at 32:00 ? When we was there I was lucky enough to see a Bonellis Eagle and Booted Eagles whilst out there. atb Alan
