“The Royal Palace of Madrid is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city of Madrid, but it is only used for state ceremonies. King Felipe VI and the Royal Family do not reside in the palace, choosing instead the more modest Palace of Zarzuela on the outskirts of Madrid.” – Travel And Discover

“The Royal Palace of Madrid is the largest in Western Europe and one of the largest in the world. With over 135,000 square metres and 3,418 rooms, it has witnessed centuries of Spanish history. Almost 2 million visitors come every year to discover its rooms, works of art and treasures that are unique in the world.” – Patrimonio Nacional

  1. You must think that we spanish are dumb for watching all your videos about Spain. I believe they are some of the ones that have more views 😬😅.

  2. I don't know why some rooms in the palace cannot be photographed or videotaped, but this happens in many museums around the world, and I suppose in more palaces. Maybe it is a security issue.

  3. It's the subway.

In Spain there are many buildings that are part of the National Heritage, so photos and videos are restricted.

Authorization from the Ministry of Culture is necessary to be able to film, for example, a movie, and even if granted, the footage is reviewed and must be approved before being shown.

  5. Hello, I think you have not yet seen the Palacio de la Granja and its fountains, I leave you the name of the channel and the title of the video, I think you will like it, I inform you that the 26 monumental fountains are only activated three times a year due to the large consumption of water that requires one of them raises the jet to 40 meters high. If you want more information, Google provides it for free since the video lacks narration. The channel is: TRAVELERS AROUND THE WORLD – the video is titled: Discover the Royal Palace and Gardens of La Granja de San Ildefonso

  6. Since a few months ago, it's possible to film and take photos. The problem, in my opinion, its when a place is so visited that you cant see anything because everybody is just taking pictures and filming, blocking the way and making the experiencie a nightmare. This happens more often than not and ruins the experiencie, specially in museums. Thats my view anyway, there are thousands of pictures of the inside on the internet, as well as the pictures hanging in the walls.
