      Toledo is amazing – everything seems so clean – no litter in streets – so nice seeing a nice clean train & station again – thanks again for the tour. Used to be like this in South Africa.

      I love Toledo, but my favorite town close to Madrid is, probably, Segovia. Go there if you're still here. If we talk about farther cities, then maybe Cordoba and Granada, so much history there!

      La catedral hay que visitarla por dentro,o te arrepentirás,es increíble y no pierdas la oportunidad,me alegra que te guste Toledo,tienes que comprar el ticket en una tienda que hay en la calle donde habéis dicho que la puerta estaba cerrada ,os daran audífonos y podréis oirlo en inglés , ánimo

      Hola, una pequeña corrección. Toledo fue capital de la Hispania Visigoda ( germanica)en el s.IV hasta el año 711 cuando fue ocupada por los musulmanes por culpa de un godo que les pidió ayuda para ser Rey.
      Anteriormente asentamiento celta y Romana , Toletum. Nombre en latin.
      La capital anterior a Madrid fue Valladolid.
      Veo que tiene mucho interés por España. 😂
      La universidad más antigua de Europa después de Bolonia es la Universidad de Salamanca fundada en 1214 creo.

      Toledo, the vowel "e" is pronounced like the "e" in the word Elephant, not the sound "e" that you have in English language. When I hear you pronouncing it, I almost die 😂. I do not want to know how angry toledanos ( the native inhabitants of the City) can be or feel after listening you saying the name of their City the wrong way 🫣🫣. Aparte from that, I know Toledo And yes, It is a historical jewel, but in Spain we have manyyyyyy others : Santiago de Compostela, Ávila, Segovia, Córdoba, Granada, Tarragona, Mérida, Salamanca, Alcalá de Henares, Cáceres, Burgos, Sevilla, etc, etc Regards, enjoy

      Toledo merece por lo menos un par de días para verlo porque tiene muchas cosas imprescindibles: Alcazar, Catedral que es preciosa y enorme, Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes, Sinagoga del Transito y la de Santa María la Blanca, Mezquita del Cristo de la Luz, Museo de Santa Cruz, Museo de El Greco, Iglesia de San Román, Puerta de Bisagra, y casi todas las iglesias. Hay que perderse por sus calles y verla desde el mirador del Valle.
