In this video we share how to explore the western side of the island by hire car and make the most of your time in Mallorca.

Day 1: Valldemossa, Deia, Sunset at Sa Foradada, Dinner at Restaurante Can Costa Valldemossa.
-The village of Valldemossa:
Start your day in this picturesque village known for its beautiful stone houses and the Royal Charterhouse and stroll through the narrow streets of one of the oldest villages in Mallorca. This hilltop village set in the Tramuntana Mountains feels like a scene from a movie and is well worth a visit. Famous from Chopin a pianist and his partner George Sand who wrote the book winter in Mallorca.

Don’t miss in Valldemossa:
-Ca’n Molinas: This charming pastry shop renowned for its artisanal treats, offering a selection of traditional Mallorcan pastries and sweets. You’ll find ensaimadas, the famous coiled pastries dusted with powdered sugar, and coca de patata/potato bread which is sweet.
-Mirador Valldemossa

-Deia
It’s about 20-25 minutes from Valldemossa and easily done in the afternoon since it is so small. You can stroll the village, peruse boutiques, and eat in many top restaurants in Mallorca. Deiá is one of the dreamiest hilltop villages to visit, nestled in the Tramuntana Mountains, near the coast, and lined with olive trees. Its also a UNESCO world heritage site.

-Sunset at Sa Foradada (Don’t forget to check the time of sunset)
A unique rock formation with a hole in it, which offers one of the best sunset views on the island. There’s a viewpoint and a nearby restaurant where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 2: Sóller, Port De Sóller, & Sa Calobra
-Sóller
Drive to Sóller, known for its historic tram, orange groves, and modernist architecture. Take a short tram ride on the Oldest operating tram tracks in Europe to Port de Sóller, (or you can drive if you prefer, its only 10 minutes) it’s a charming harbour with plenty of dining options along the waterfront.

-Sa Calobra – A very scenic drive, not to be missed!
