7 Days Alone Hiking Americas Most Incredible Trail! Mt Whitney, Eastern Sierra #hikingadventures

7 Days Backpacking the Eastern Sierra Nevada, California, United States of America.
First video on my new backpacking channel. I return to California to hike the highest peak in the contiguous USA, Mount Whitney. I start from Horseshoe Meadow and hike to Chicken Spring Lake, enter Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park, got to Rock Creek, Crabtree Meadows, Guitar Lake on the John Muir Trail and continue to summit Mount Whitney on the 5th day. This was done on a permit where I was allowed to visit Mt Whitney, so I spent 3 days hiking back out the way I came. This is not a Silent Hiking video, you might have to watch Harmen Hoek or Kraig Adams for those videos.

My original channel @NorwegianXplorer is now focused on my Van and Storm videos, so I wanted a clean new channel for my backpacking trips where I go back to my basics with no sensational storms and weather, unless that should occur on my backpacking trip.

My gear is the basics I have used for a long time, Marmot tent, HMG backpack, Primus Stove, Western Mountaineering sleeping bag, La Sportiva shoes, Therm-a-rest sleeping pad, Arcteryx, Devold and Norrøna clothing and some more stuff.
