  1. Lee I keep saying the same thing but it is so beautiful and many of us will appreciate you showing us all this. So good that Maureen is with you as I know she has had her problems. So many of us would love to be there and thank you for helping us be there. Keep on keeping on.🙏🖐✌️

  2. The gardens at the Real (Royal) Alcazar are spectacular.

‘The Royal Alcázar of Madrid (Spanish: Real Alcázar de Madrid) was a fortress located at the site of today's Royal Palace of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. The structure was originally built in the second half of the ninth century by the Muslims, then extended and enlarged over the centuries, particularly after 1560. It was at this time that the fortress was converted into a royal palace, and Madrid became the capital of the Spanish Empire. Despite being a palace, the great building kept its original Arabic title of Alcázar (English: “castle”).'wiki

A tip of the cap to Maurine’s wardrobe she wore it very well. ☮

  3. To say ORNATE would be an Understatement LEE!!!!! You said the same as I was thinking……This is 14th….16th….17th ETC Century buildings……..THE TIME and work to do the buildings with every single piece in it……AMAZING!!!!!!

  4. Great series. It's fun to see Spain again. I lived in Madrid for four years. I played in a group for a couple of years, and we performed in Sevilla. The drive down to Sevilla was a real adventure. The most memorable and magical performance was when we played at the aqueduct in Segovia. We started playing at midnight under a full moon.

  5. 😻😻 Great video! Love the panorama of the formal garden! Looks familiar; may have visited that.
Interestingly enough, back in the 60's when lawns weren't considered "immoral," jacaranda and elephant ears were popular landscaping elements in Southern California.
