Exploring Madrid: Day One With My Camera
Our first day in Madrid with a camera in hand.
It was a sunny spring day, perfect for walking around and getting a feel for the city. We wandered through Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor, and past the Royal Palace, and spent some time in El Retiro Park, which was in full bloom.
We had a woeful time taking photos, and getting lost in the streets — no set plan, just seeing what we could find and shoot. If you like street photography, city walks, or just seeing a place from a more relaxed perspective, you’ll probably enjoy this.
