#nevada #greatbasinnationalpark Great Basin National Park – Part 1 Lehman Creek
This is Nevada in July. 👍 if you are darn suprised to find this out.
This was the next leg of our “Finding Water in the Desert” summer road trip from Las Vegas – Great Basin National Park.
It all looks unbelievable until you see it with your own eyes.
The reason why there is a lot of water in Great Basin National Park is because it is located between 7,000 and 13,000 FT elevation with lots of snowmelt in spring and summer.
In this video you can see Lehman Creek. A trail going along the creek is considered to be one of the best in the Park and it is easy for families with kids.
It is also a great place to see wildflowers.
And another thing I love about Great Basin National Park – the entrance to the park is absolutely FREE. This one and Redwoods National Park are the only two NP that I know of in the US that don’t charge for entrance. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Next few weeks I’ll tell you all the tips you need to know about Great Basin National Park before you visit – stay tuned and subscribe to our channel!
