That's not the time for siesta, it's break time to eat a meal. In Spain the usual is people working on a split shift. The siesta thing is a myth mostly.
The nap you could take during that break is a brief nap of 15 or 20 minutes, it's not exactly a long sleep time
Spaniards-we are very proud of our olive oil. Don, t ask if anything is cooked with butter. That question is a "insulto" in Spain.
You should have done El Escorial and Segovia for the skip day in Madrid too

When she says this is the third largest palace in Europe, sure she must think, coming from where she is coming, than Versailles or Buckinham palaces are larger….. but no, Buckinhams is a third in size of Madrid s, and Versailles is 30pct smaller. Larger palaces than Madrid s are in eastern European countries.
By the way, they are eating "typical Spanish food" …. Gnoquis…., hamburgers ….. hahaha !!!!
