MUST WATCH: Firearm RULES for National Parks
If you lawfully have a firearm and wish to take your gun to a National Park, well you can BUT … this does not mean you can take it everywhere in the park and in fact, you may never be able to lawfully use it.
For more videos on Gun Rights, check out my other channel: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSecondAm
For example, you are not permitted to take your firearm into any National Park building including, but not limited to, visitor centers, fee collection stations, ranger stations and so on. Additionally, in most areas of all National Parks you cannot fire your weapon. In fact, the use of a gun is very, very limited.
To know more please watch this video and read the National Park Service’s rules for firearms.

I carry everywhere. Period.
Don’t worry, Trump will change this for the better
Ok what ever I will do what I need to do.😅
Just don't tell anyone 😂
Always thought I’d rather be judged by twelve than carried by six. Been in the back country before. 2 hours from a paved road.
What else to say about the fact that if there are all kinds of crazy people in the forest and where hikers have been attacked by unknown persons, then in my opinion EVERYONE who goes there should carry weapons there. The purpose of my idea would be to PROTECT themselves! If a person knows how to use a weapon to be safe for themselves, then I don't see a problem with it. This is my European opinion and idea that should be written into the law regardless of which state you are in the forest and what time of day or night.
T’hose who take their second amendment rights seriously don’t care about any laws by States, Counties, or Cities. So entertaining.
If you are attacked, and I mean attacked by anything and you use a firearm and they arrest you and prosecute you then I think the park service should be required to defend you up to and including paying for lawyers fee. This is taxpayer supported property and taxpayers money should extend fighting to prevent injustice.
What kind of law is that they want you to get mauled to death instead of being able to survive! New york state is one of those foolish states they'd rather you die, then protect yourself. Especially, but it's not only bears. We have to worry about, but also ten million illegals
I carry black powder .44 magnum revolvers. Not even a firearm per USC or the ATF.
So a park firearm law wouldn't apply to me anyway.
So anyway, the NPS says something stupid to the effect of "firearms shouldn't be considered protection against wildlife." The weak, purposely vague language of that aside, a bear, wolf, cougar attacks me, it goes down. No questions asked.
Thank u Mr AI
Did George Washington ask the Brits permission to have a firearm? The 2nd amendment is my permit.
I will carry a weapon for self defence in the woods its always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. That is if your not eaten.
Here is the funny part. In the woods. They don't know.
When you are concealing. They don't know.
These rules are all subject to how much do you value your life ultimately.
I'm pretty sure that if you're being attacked, you can use it. It's probably "technically" illegal because so many people would lie if they got caught poaching.
HOW STUPID… so leaving a fire arm in your vehicle is safer than having it concealed on your person is better??? only by government standards …. I never disarm myself… because it is my RIGHT
That's not the entire amendment. Read the whole thing.
Stay strapped. Never pull it unless its FAFO TIME! 🎉
Smokey the bear said to disregard that rule, and the Easter bunny agreed😂😂😂
When my family went to Yellowstone, I read in the guide that the parks service actually recommends at least one person be armed if going in a group. Nice!
The gov has no more lawful power to infringe our rights in NPs than they do anywhere else in the Republic, with very few exceptions, known as "sensitive places". However, the gov must treat sensitive places as sensitive places, e.g. they must be equipped with metal detectors, only offer limited entry points, and be adequately staffed by well trained, armed officers in sufficient numbers to guarantee the safety of all occupants!!!
Wait… Hold up! So, the National Park Service requires that you allow yourself to get mauled or die, even if you're carrying protection in a national park? What if you ignore that and kill an angry charging bear, and the usual scare tactics don't work? Would you be in trouble for saving your own life? Make it make sense.
You can’t defend yourself against a 2 legged animal?
Yeah I'm not using it for protection against an animal in the park, just the animals that are human
