MALLORCA VLOG: best beaches + restaurants, Palma, Deia, Port de Soller, Santanyi and where to stay
Hi you guys. Welcome to my orca. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Our first day in America. Elena’s driving. She’s done. I’m passenger princess today. We on route to a beach. I’m so excited to take you. It’s called the Lombard’s Beach. The only thing is it’s cloudy today. Mhm. But we’re making the most of it. Well, last night it was [ __ ] pouring rain. So, when we got here, I didn’t vlog anything yesterday, Obby. It was pissing rain. We were like, “What the hell?” We had to park kind of far from a hotel and walk and walk and our stuff was getting wet. But we’re just grateful for a cloudy day versus a rainy day. A rainy day. and the weather is still warm. So, we’re like, you know what? We are not wasting a day. We are still going to go enjoy it. So, we’re on on route to the beach. We have snacks. We have all our stuff. And we’ll see where the day takes us. We have some fun dinner plans. I’m so excited to be This is our second time in Spain together. If you guys missed our last vlogs in Barcelona and Aiza, they’re right here. You can go watch them. Do you have anything to say? No. I’m just happy to be here. I’m so excited to be here. We had a nice little breakfast at our hotel. Yeah. Uh went to a little supermarket to get some snacks for the beach. Got some drinks. Yeah. And that’s it. We had such an amazing sleep. Yeah. We had such a good sleep. We both went to bed maybe like 11:30 midnight and we slept past 8. Yeah. Which both got up a bit I guess or like were awake a few times. But honestly shocking. It was so good. But I’m still really tired cuz it is the middle of the night in Vancouver right now and so I am jetlagged. But we’re going to probably like have a little nap on the beach. Hot tip, bring a cooler if you can, like a fold down soft cooler with you because I packed one and I think it’s great cuz we got like cheese and salamis and stuff and it at least keeps our water like not hot. I have a great tip too. Okay, you should take your blanket off the plane as a beach blanket. That’s what I did. and we’ll show you at the beach. I have this beach towel that I bring to to any like beach vacation I go on that I got from Amazon. I’ll put it here so you guys can shop it. Like dries fast total. And I was bringing mine. She’s like, “Okay, I might buy one.” She didn’t. And then we were on the plane on our Condor flight and they had blankets for sleeping. And so she stole the blanket from the plane and she’s bringing it with her on our trip. Perfect beach blanket. It’s nice and thin. It’s actually like neutral. It’ll dry fast. But she’s a thief, guys. I I fear this is going to be a dangerous trip because these cats just bamboozled Atlanta and I land thought this cat right here was dying. We fed it slammy as you can see right here and gave them fresh water. They don’t even want the swami. So Elena literally cried. She had tears. I had tears. She was sobbing. She was like, “The cat’s not well.” And I walked over and it gave it and it looked at the swim, smelled it, and turned around. This is what we got for our beach day, but there’s a lot of people here, so that’s good. This is Kala. Oh my god, it’s so windy. It’s so windy. Oh my god. Okay, the sun kind of came out a little bit. It’s actually not bad with the wind, especially when we’re laying down, but it is really pretty here. Like, if the sun was fully shining, I feel like there’d be more potential. But let me show you. Look at the water. Like this little cove. You can go I guess cliff jumping over there and over on either side. [Music] This is our hotel room. We’ve already been here for the night, so our suitcases and stuff everywhere. You’re fine. But classic Euro two beds, which honestly Alana and I like. Anyways, and then look at our view from our windows. Oh, it’s so cute. It’s so pretty. You’re joking. This is the outfit of the night. It’s from Charcoal Clothing. This is pissing me off. There’s like a little lip here in the zipper, but it’s really cute. It’s like drop waist floor length maxi. We’re going to this really cute restaurant that Elena made tonight. Elena and I are kind of matching unintentionally. She’s wearing a brown top which matches the colors of my dress and she’s wearing a white skirt. It’s our first dinner out. But Elena book Reszo. Where did you find a Tik Tok? It’s on the Michelin guy. How do you say it? Do you remember? Can Oh. Oh, wait. The restaurant name. Yeah. I don’t know how to say it. It’s like or something, but it looks really cute. Love our hotel. This is the entrance. It’s so cute. And then the pool’s right there. And there’s a rooftop bar. We should go to the rooftop tonight. Yeah. For a little night cap rental car. BYD. The guy told us is a Chinese build your dreams. What did you say it actually meant? I said big young dick. The guy told us this is a Chinese hybrid. Build your dreams. BYD. Really what it stands for? He said we thought he was pranking us, but he was serious. He was serious. We verified. This is the parking lot. We have to park it cuz the hotel doesn’t have parking and it’s kind of a pain in the ass. It was fine yesterday, but when we came back from the beach, it was so busy. Nightmare. This is Sole. We don’t know how to say it. We say solar. A child. No. What? Baby, it’s not a very good god dog. Guard dog. Sweetie cutie. Oh, there’s another one. Right there. Where? Right there. To properly say it, it’s like So, but I’m going to say Soy. We’re in Soy. That we’re in that. It’s like 15-minute drives from Port. So, so and it’s the cutie town. So, it’s our friend moon. We were also wondering if people think we’re a couple, but we don’t think our body language gives that. Right. I don’t think so. This is pork pate. I’m speechless. I’m going to try it. I’m supposed to put this for the culture. I think so. I’m so scared. Okay, I’m looking at it. Oh my god. It must be your birthday with friends. Try it with friends. No, Lena. Oh, thanks. Okay. On the set menu, it was beef tartar, but I asked them to substitute, so they gave me squid tartar. Atlanta did get the beef tartar. It’s good. Yeah, it’s good. Honestly, it does taste cooked though, but I don’t think it is. It looks good. Right. Then we put the stew, made it with a lot of prawns like fish and vegetables. Elena is so excited for her porky. I actually really like pork tenderloin, too. We were literally saying yesterday it’s Yeah, I agree. I have to say, you guys, I’m having a hard time adjusting to the no tipping culture here because none of the machines prompt you for a tip and I don’t know if they want it in cash and we tried to Google it and there’s no real answers. So, I’m feeling guilty. Also, what can we do if there’s no option? So, we didn’t see it. But, I would recommend going to that place. If I got your dog fish, that sounds I wish you got that. I wish I got the dogfish. I chose the prawns and it wasn’t my favorite. What was the pate made out of? Pork. Pork. I didn’t like that, but that was just like not even part of the meal. The pork tenderline and the dessert was so divine. So, I would recommend going. It was so cheap. It’s $45 for five courses and the wine was cheap. There was like €6 a glass. [Music] We’re at the our rooftop bar. It’s so cute. Such a vibe. She got a glass of wine. I tried to order a bottle. Elena said no. We’re going to get the seven. We decided that after I tried to go to the bottle, but nice try. I’m proud of us. We made it to almost 12:00 tonight. I took a little nappy nappy in the car, but I still feel tired and I feel like we’re adjusting well. The rooftop at our hotel, it was actually really cute. I’d highly recommend coming, especially for sunset. We want to come back when it’s daytime to like see the full effect. But we’re going to get ready for bed. Going to have an early start tomorrow. We’re going to go to the market. I’m really excited. And then a really cool beach over that way. So, talk to you in the morning. [Music] We’re in Centani. I don’t know how to say it in Sant Santani. Santani, but it has a little cutie market we’ve seen on Tik Tok. So, we’re excited to go explore. It’s 9:30. The market’s 9 to2 only on Saturdays. It’s like and Wednesdays. Oh, and Wednesdays. Thank you, Atlanta. But we’re here on Wednesday, so we said we got to go today. And then we’re going to hit the beach after one that’s close to here. It’s like an It was an hour drive and then it’s like probably 20 more minutes to the beach that we want to go to today. So, come with us. [Music] Okay, the market was crazy. We didn’t want to find the food because it was too hectic to get through. We could barely walk. No, literally it was like sardines packed in there. So, we’re going to head to the beach now because we don’t want to run out of time. Top tip would literally be come early. We got here at 9:30. was dead and then it’s been an hour and it’s so busy. So, make sure you come early if you want to actually enjoy it. I had spotted some jewelry at the beginning that I wanted to go back for, but it was so busy that I’m abandoning all I know all effort to get over there. Made it. Just at the supermarket. I’m going to try this. I haven’t tried it yet. It’s like a little bubbly orange and cardamom spritz. And then I grabbed Atlanta beer. Also, Capria. I love these. [Music] We’re here. We’re just walking. It’s actually like relatively easy to find. I’ll put the I’ll make sure I obviously put the name of the beach in the blog, but we’re really close. You kind of have to find parking, but it is free if you find parking. This will be our setup for like two more hours. We’re still just at the beach. Well, yeah, it’s on the cliffs. Same same. But it started raining. It’s not great weather. We’re just not sure if we got like unlucky with the bad couple days in America or if this is like typical island weather. But it’s still warm and like the UV is still high. So, we’re trying to tough it out and see if it passes. But, I was shooting some content. I’ll pop it up here. Alan took some pics for me. And then I used my tripod in front of the whole beach. Go me. Um, and it started raining when I was taking my videos, so annoying. Guys, we just made it home. Our an hour and 20 trek and we got the last, I kid you not, the last parking spot in the entire parkade that was available. And how many floors did we come out? Like three or four. We got the last spot. This is the end. We have lucky girl syndrome today. This is my outfit of the night. It’s ready pink. It’s not pink, guys. Okay, cuz I don’t wear pink. It’s ready pink, but it’s from Meshki. It is a year old. But I tried my new dual voltage hair thermal brush and it ate. Like my hair looks so good. Honestly, it could look better than the Bondai booster. It’s just I haven’t styled my hair in a few days. But that’s stunning. So, I’ll make sure I link it so you guys can shop if you’re going to Europe and you need a thermal brush because my Bondai didn’t work here. So, this is the fit. We’re going to nin I think is how you say it. Atlanta calls it na na. So, we’ll find out when we get there. Elena thrifted this dress. Show the class. It’s so cute. It’s so Mya. By the way, I’m like 99% sure you guys have figured it out by now, but we’re staying in Port Soy, which my friend Izzy recommended cuz she’s been here before. And this is where Nene/ Nanny/ Na N is located, which is really convenient, but it’s all the way up this [ __ ] hill. This is the articho and this is the cauliflower. They were recommended by the server. Jerusome plate calamarie. It looks so good. And based on the affies, this is going to be fire. Look at this view. It honestly doesn’t look real to me. It looks like a a page in a magazine. Like the lighting hits perfectly. Where? Oh, yeah. That’s our hotel right there. Hello. [Music] We were home and we’re upset because because we both walked in and we were like, “Our hair reeks reeks.” Like, no exaggeration. So aromatic, but in a bad way. Cigarettes. Arom theapy. Yeah. And it smells. We didn’t smoke. And we weren’t smoking. I would tell you guys. I I would be honest. I would tell you guys. You know what to tell you. We did not smoke and we were in like an open air bar. So, we’re shocked that it’s this smelling smells so bad thanks to the fan. You know what though? Atlanta has one plus is that she didn’t wash her hair after the ocean today. She should have just went in with like her natural salt hair curls. And I did wash my hair and styled it. So, I’m [ __ ] pissed. I’m pissed. You know what? It’s been a roller coaster. But that bar was so cute. It was fun. Yeah, it it seemed like all locals and it seemed like a really really good vibe. I actually had a slight hangover today, so which is really funny considering we are going to stick around Portoy today because it’s a long story. We went really back and forth. Actually, I went back and forth and I was actually down to do anything that I suggested, which was really nice. And then I just came to realization to be the most efficient with time today and do as much as we want. We’re going to stay in Portoy. We’re going to go to day later. We have a really pretty reservation and we want to have time to get ready. Anyways, we’re going to stick around here today. We do need to explore this area anyways. So, we’re excited. I’m wearing separate bikini pieces today because I don’t want tan lines. This top is from Sheen like years ago and then the bottoms are Princess Polly. The shorts are also Princess Polly. We’re going to go grab breakfast at our hotel. Going to get Atlanta a good coffee and then we’re going to go to the beach. [Music] Guys, this is where we came last night. Santa, if you want to pop in and on when you’re wo When you’re on Mayora. This is our little setup. It’s so cute. We got front row. And this side of the port is so pretty. The view. It’s really pretty over there, but it’s even more pretty here. [Music] Elena got us a nice little fluff wrap, fries, a beer. It was a combo and then two apperal spritzes. Yum. The girlies are ready for dinner. Helena looks so cute. She’s got her new shoes on. We have her fanciest reso tonight. Oh my gosh, my bangs. Criminal. This haird dryer here is not doing the trick. Oh my god. Oh well. Fanciest Reso at the Belmont Hotel grounds. There’s three or four restaurants. This was another recommendation from Izzy, but also we’ve seen it on Tik Tok. Our mass just told us that our um place is closed, so pause. The Reszo’s right, so I don’t really know, but we’re going to go anyways and figure it out. But the restaurant we originally wanted to go on this grounds is called Elva. It’s so beautiful. Look it up. If you can get a reszo, try to. But if you can’t, there’s two or three other restaurants on the grounds. The one we’re going to is called Traumantana Grill. Izzy went there and we’re gonna just try and like go sneak a few other pictures at El Oliva before we have our dinner reso. We’re we’re scamming the system, but we’re actually being smart. So, that would be my tip. It’s in Dea, which is like 25 minutes. I thought it was 15-minute drive away, but it’s about 25 minute drive away from Port Soyang. [Music] There’s a bus coming, so we just pulled over and waited. I don’t even I Yeah. Like look at this. How are we supposed to be there? This car just pulled up here. Oh, you [ __ ] idiot. Right. No, it’s fine. Let it out. So, see, this is why we pulled over. Work smarter, not harder. [Music] Look at this gorgeous spot we just got. We do have a little bit of a walk, a little bit of a trick. I got a sangria and Elena got a rosé. This looks really beautiful and pretty. Grabbing a drink before a dinner reso. Start singing the Little Mermaid song. I don’t know. You were singing it last night. A whole new world. No, that one. I got an extra dirty vodka martini. He said extra dry when he dropped it off, but it actually tastes good. It doesn’t taste extremely dirty, but tastes good. And then Atlanta got a Bellini, which is procco and peach. What is it? Cordial, I think. So cordial is a cherry or something. Is it good? Yeah. [Music] Portwell’s good. Elena said she wanted this and I’m going out of my comfort zone to try it. I’m keen. Little flakes of salt and it’s Oh, I didn’t even say what it is. It’s anchovies. Anchovies on bread with tomato and arugula. Obby, go for it. Anchovies are like seafood salami. We got seafood shuri right here. Yeah, we do. Tastes like Caesar salad. Let’s try the Caesar salad on bread. Let’s see. [Music] Mhm. It’s good. Not fishy at all. [Music] It’s so pretty here. It’s like breathtakingly beautiful. So, 10 out of 10 would recommend coming at some point in your trip and booking with one of the restaurants on the resort. So, leave time for pictures and extra time. And also, if it’s really hot, you’re not going to want to take pictures when it’s really hot. So, once the sun went down, we took some more, which we were able to just leave our table and go take them quickly around the corner, which was nice. Okay, we’re back at our rooftop bar. And I’ve never had a porn star martini, but Izzy gets them all the time when she goes to Europe, so I’m influenced to try one finally. I thought I was recording, but I wasn’t. So, I’m now trying it for the second time. But it is so good, you guys. I get it now. I get it. Ellen, I got a glass of wine, but she’s going to try mine. Right. Vanilla. Morning people. We’re headed to another beach today. We’re going to go to this really pretty beach, Kella, tomorrow. It’s a really popular one here. It’s in the south. It is like an hour and 20 minutes from where we’re staying in Portto. So, we grabbed a couple drinks, grabbed a couple snacks from the supermarket. Elena just grabbed a coffee and we’re on route. The clouds are really cramping my style because I want to get my tan and I don’t want it to be really dark for a bees and we leave in like 2 days. So, they need to skaddle and get out of here. No, the clouds. The bug bites also need to scaddle. Also need to get out of here. This is the most hectic beach we’ve come to by far. Just in terms of parking there, it seems a lot more regulated here. And I know this is a really famous one. You kind of have to park a bit further out and do a walk. So, we’re just walking right now. You’ll figure it out. There’s someone who stops you, it looks like, before you can go down the main street. And then everyone’s walking. I’m assuming only local traffic’s allowed down here. We were driving in and when you start to notice that everybody else is walking, you’re like, “Oh [ __ ] we got to park somewhere soon.” Yeah. So, we found a spot just kind of on like a residential street, but it’s honestly like a kilometer from the beach. So, yeah. And keep in mind also, it’s like 11:40 in the morning, so if you’re coming later, it’s going to be even busier. [Music] [Music] We made it, y’all. It’s so pretty. I feel like it might be better to take our shoes off. Hope so. We don’t slip. [Music] It started to rain. Obviously, we’re at the beach and it cleared out completely. Like when we got here, we literally sat like right there and we were sitting sitting up lay down and now it’s like completely empty. So my top tip would be come when it’s raining and just be okay with getting wet. Yeah. But no, we’re going to we’re going to try and wait it out. We’re not the only ones waiting it out here. We’re Vancouver girls. Is someone going to jump? Oh my god. Oh, someone jumped. Got our little cheese salami crackers. Snicky snacking. I want to show them your bruise. Look at her bruises and all over there. She has no idea what they’re from. They’re like in a row. 1 2 3 four. I think Jackie attacked me through. We’ve just got some bad weather in Morca. But it still is really pretty here. Like the water’s obviously clearly still very blue and it’s so sandy and you can walk out so well here. But when it’s sunny, it’s like 20 times bluer. It’s way prettier. I tried to take some pictures. Alena took them for me. I’ll pop one in if they turned out. I think they did. I haven’t really looked at them. It was like sunny for a minute and then it started raining. So it was like perfect timing. They’re still here. The rain has wet up a little bit. It’s just slightly drizzling down the sun. Kind of. Elena’s talking about the falafel wrap from yesterday. Still, she told her mom she got a falafel wrap yesterday. It was the best thing she’s had. I didn’t say that. I think it’s the best falafel I’ve ever had. Oh, okay. And she wanted another one. And then she said she wanted two for dinner. If you’re watching this, send me money. center mic for fluff right now. Make sure you import it from port to soil. It wouldn’t stop raining at the beach. So, we decided to leave and come to Portier. And honestly, I’m glad we did cuz I don’t know if you can see cuz it’s kind of back and blown out, but it is sunny cloudy here. There’s like some blue sky and it’s warm and I’m so much happier here. That beach and we have this. Yeah. Cheers. It was worth it to go to that beach though, hands down. It was beautiful and the sun was shining at the beginning. It looked so blue and stunning. I think that was the best looking water we agreed and it was like walk outable. It was walk outable. A madeup turn. I like it. And it was really busy as we said like very very busy. It’s hard to find a spot. So go early but worth it if you do find a spot and just be on the watch for people leaving and snag your spot. Elena brought a piece of Kala Deore home with her right here. She’s so sandy and she hasn’t taken it off. She also burnt. She’s convinced that the burn was from yesterday, but it’s very clearly from today. No, it’s not. Back in the room. Had a nice little pool afternoon with the damp roast spritzy. We have no dinner plans tonight, which is kind of nice. Also, I did show you guys this view. I cannot get over it. How pretty it is from our room. Yeah, we don’t have any dinner plans specific tonight. So, we’re going to stay in Port Doy. And then tomorrow, we have dinner plans that are near Palma. So, we’re going to stay in Port Do Soy tomorrow, too. And then our dinner res early. I’m in a pickle because I want to slick back my hair tomorrow. But if I wash my hair tonight, then it won’t be dirty enough to slick back tomorrow. But if I don’t wash my hair tonight, that means I’m sleeping with beach hair. I think I’m going to wash it and then I’ll let let it air dry cuz my hair always gets greasy. This is what my natural hair looks like from the beach salt water and ocean, which is crazy cuz at home it’s like pinstree. But yeah, I’m going to probably yeah wash my hair, let it air dry, and then if I need to make it more slick back, I’ll use sunscreen, which is my hack. I’ll show you guys tomorrow if I use it. I just put spray sunscreen in and it makes it greasy cuz it’s like that sunscreen substance. Okay, washed my hair and it’s up in a claw clip so it doesn’t dry all crazy. This is just the chill outfit I’m going for tonight. And then I’ll just have my little white bag. We’re just going to go down the street to a dinner spot that we wanted to go do the first night, but it looks so dead. But it was really busy the next two nights. I think the first night cuz the rain it just seemed like it’d be dead. But it’s actually probably a good spot. All right, we’re out and about. Elena has been saving this skirt for two years. What? Two years. One year. One year. One year. I got it at the warehouse sale. And I was like, this is just It’s Euro summer, but I didn’t go to Europe last summer. How does it feel to finally be wearing it in Europe? Great. Great. The view’s done it. This side of the island, I can’t remember if I told you guys this earlier, but this side of the island definitely gets better weather is what we’re learning. The south kind of has touchand go weather. It’s beautiful right now, and I think it’s probably cloudy over there. You can kind of see way over there. There’s clouds. This is the place we came to on the first night, you guys. And it looks so much more beautiful in sunshine. It’s such a vibe. If you go, you need to get the the bara to be done. Oh, yeah. It was so good. Yeah. The last thing the vlog knew is that we were going to Randomar. Yeah. We’ve changed directions. What happened? We’ve changed courses. Yeah. Suddenly, we’re having a glass of wine and a cigarette before dinner. Well, what happened was um we didn’t get into random. Then we said, “Let’s go eat somewhere else.” Then we saw a gift shop with lighters. Then we asked for cigarettes. Then he said, “Go over here.” And then we went over there. And they said, “You need cash, but why don’t you have a glass of wine?” So we got a glass of wine. And we got cash. And that’s where we tried to pivot and go to an Indian restaurant. I said, “No. When we have this view and like the cutest beach town, we’re not going to the Indian restaurant that’s like two blocks in.” We got a light cigarette. Thanks. Got a glass of white wine. We don’t even know what kind of wine it is. Didn’t even know how much it was going to be. It was only 350 a glass. And we got a cute Mayorca Louis Vuitton lighter. [Applause] [Music] These are crispy mushrooms and they have teriyaki sauce. Are they hot? [Music] I forgot mushroom. We got eggplant and a green curry sauce and then chicken cooked in its own juice. That’s literally what it says on the menu. That’s what it is. It did say also with green goddess. Yeah, it looks good. Our app was good. So, yeah. Go. Oh, there’s the chicken. Oh, it’s got It said it was a chicken thigh. It’s big. That’s a big thigh. Big boy. BBC. Big boy chicken. We’re at Santa’s pool again. Good morning. Slight hangover for me today, but like nothing bad. I just woke up at 7:00. It’s a long story, but I didn’t get to sleep as long as I’d like. But anyways, we’re going to So, waiting on the little platform for the tram. It’s easy to find if you’re here. Just ask your hotel. And we came here the other night for our Michelin star dinner, but Atlanta just said there’s like so much more to see here than we saw. So, I’m really glad we came back cuz where our dinner was, like it was a very small. Yeah, it was quaint. Anyways, Atlanta found a matcha shop. What’s it called? First court. And there’s strawberry matcha. And I’m so excited. Oh my god. [Music] stopped for a little longer and a little calamari. It’s kind of crazy. Kind of crazy. But you know what? Daily why not? Why not? [Music] We got a little lemon gelato. So good. We’re saying I feel like daytime vibes is like fruity tart gelato. And then night time. Yeah. Refreshing. Refreshing. Night time I like like a chocolate peanut butter almond coffee flavor. So they’re really good. [Music] Falafel cam. We’re going to falafel. Falafel cam time. She She’s getting her falafel. Jackie. Also, in general, this side’s just really cute with all the seating facing the beach and like these little caf restaurants. It is, you guys. It’s called the the Red Fort Indian tandoori restaurant. A girl and her falafel. She’s so happy. So good. It is really good. I love it. I love how you feel after your falafel. I’m ecstatic. The world is my oyster. Everything is coming up roses. She said it was better from the other day. I liked it. I liked the little spicy. Yeah, it was spicier today, which was also good. Like it wasn’t too spicy, but I don’t know. It just really It You know what? When I found out that there was falafel the first, I was so excited. It really hit in a special special way. And it’s only €6. So like again, if you’re trying to budget like us for the daytime, we too. like €3 each for like honestly it’s probably like this big. So we each have half. We’re so skinny. You look so hungry. [Music] Also, best life hack of all time is using sunscreen like this for the most beautiful natural glow that lasts. We’re stuck in a bit of traffic and we’re going to be 10 minutes late, but I think it’s fine. It’ll be fine. And I didn’t get a chance to show you my fit, but it’s pepper mayo. Not really getting the full vision here, but that’s okay. I’ll show you guys when we get there. Hopefully get a couple cutie pics. We have an early res. I told you. And also, it’s an hour from Port Soier. It’s like more near Palma, so it’s going to take us an hour to get there. Just keep that in mind if you’re going to stay in Porto. So, is a really popular spot, so take that as you want. We made it. We’re 15 minutes late, but we call I called and I was like, “Hola, do you speak English?” and he hung up on me. So then Atlanta called back and spoke English and he answered and then he said, “Yeah.” I said, “Oh, we have a reservation and we’re a little bit late. We’re just parking be really soon.” He said, “Okay, what’s the name?” And I said, “Jacine.” He said, “Zachary.” Perfect. And then we’re a mess. Aioli, olives, bread, bread. Let’s get this bread. Got a cornstar martini spritz. Atlanta said this is really good. [Music] [Music] You guys, our rental in there, babe. Come get us. Never mind. Elena said I could film it now and we’ll see what happens when we return the car. But someone definitely scratched our car, but we just noticed it. I usually check every time we leave. Yeah. So I think it was from here. It’s a small minor scratch, but it’s definitely like there. Could have been just from someone walking by with their bag though, too. Yeah. And I don’t I’m like I’m a thousand% sure we didn’t do that. No, we didn’t. We haven’t hit anything. We paid for coverage, though, so hopefully it’s not an issue. Maybe they won’t even notice. It is pretty small, but we’ll keep you posted. If if it’s still in the vlog, that means it’s all good. As much as we loved having the car, it would be really nice to get rid of the car. It’s so big. This time we’re staying in Palma, so it’ll be a little bit of a different setup, but we have some fun plans. We’re doing a cooking class tonight. Tomorrow we have a reservation at Cap Broat and then we leave the next day. So, it’s going to be a fun couple days. We’re excited to be back here, back in our home. Our luggage made it. So, we’re so happy. If you know, you know from the South of France vlog. But yeah, excited to be back here. 10 out of 10. You guys would recommend staying at this hotel. Our Mayorca hotels have been such a hit. This is the shower. It’s separate from the bathroom. Two beds and look at the ceiling. It’s so stinking cute and like vinty in here. A little smeg fridge and a little balcony. We’re so happy. Genuinely love this hotel so much. Also, I bought this shirt in France. France. If you saw that vlog, then you know, you know. But the airline paid for this cuz they lost our luggage. So cute. It’s like a halter top. It’s kind of gold speckly crochet neutral vibes. But we’re going to hit the beach now. It’s our last beach day at sunset. [Music] This is the last time I need. We bought two Coronas from the guy that eats. He was just yelling water and cola. And then we’re like, “Do you have a beer?” He’s like, “Yep.” Sells his beer. And then he walks over, starts yelling, “Water, beer, and cola.” So good. It’s just what the doctor wanted. Cheers. Yeah. Jackie went to the doctor. He said, “You better have a beer. Fix your sinuses. Fix your infected bug bites.” Mhm. What else did you say was wrong? I had heartburn yesterday. Heartburn or itchiness? Uh, yeah. I think I’ve told you guys, but I feel like I’m getting sick, but I keep fighting it and then feeling better. It’s so weird. Guessing isn’t helping, but it is. The lucky girl syndrome continues, you guys, because we had such a good flight. We got full rolls to ourselves. Then our luggage arrived. Flight was on time. Flight was on time. And then we were able to check into our hotel early. Our hotel’s beautiful and so cute. We’re so happy. And we’re just at the beach right now. And some girls were like, “Hey, are you guys going to be here for a bit? We want to go grab lunch. Can you watch our stuff? And if you want, you can use our umbrella while we do.” which is perfect for my white friend. She needs she needs a couple hours of shade every day. And honestly, I love being able to hide my face and just tanning my box. So, lucky girl syndrome. We’re having the best day ever. We have a cooking class later. We have free dinner tonight basically. Yeah, I know. Girl math is we paid for it a while ago, so it’s free. Actually, my mom paid for it for me. Love you, Mom. buying a bowl. Got some watermelon. I didn’t buy watermelons. I bought some pineapple. Looks so good. It’s still cold. I need to make sure my hands aren’t sandy though. €4 for half a pineapple. So good. I’m allergic to pineapple, though. We had a lovely time at the beach. My girl, she got a tan. Look at her. She’s bronzy. Let’s see. Oh, yeah. Yeah. She looks tan. Almost darker than me. I bought some pineapple. We bought a couple beers. Do we buy anything else? No. They had sangria. We were very, very, very tempted. We should get a picture of sangria tonight. Should we stop on a patio right now? Love Island USA. We’re getting us angria. People are like, “Oh, what are the tourist sites you’re seeing? What’s the culture you’re doing?” And our all we’ve done is say green bar truffles. Uh alcohol. Rosé. What are they drink? Aferal spirits. That’s culture. Yeah, that’s our culture. I love our religion. I love my god. We drove by the Mayor Castle and Elena said, “I don’t come here to see stuff like that. I can see that on YouTube. [Music] That’s what I’m talking about here for my lady. Okay. What’s going on? How am I supposed to deal with that? Okay. [Music] We stopped at like candy store to get some stuff. Elena got a hot mango one. I didn’t eat it, but it was spicy candy. Yeah, there was also some Swedish candy there. I think that was the fastest I’ve ever gone ready. And now we’re on our way to our cooking class. My mom paid for this class for me for my birthday. Bless her. And Alena’s just along for the ride. She paid for herself. Let’s call Sandy right now. Sandy. Just kidding. It was my birthday gift. So, we’re excited though. It’s like a seven course meal and we have like some idea. I also want to say I hope we don’t have to cook seven courses cuz that’s a lot. Yeah, true. I don’t want that. I want them to cook like I want to cook like two. Wait, look at this building. That’s so cool. It’s giving like god. Yeah, maybe it is. We should look into that. Very very cool. Elena was saying she hopes that we don’t have to cook seven entre or seven courses. Seven courses. I agree. That’s way too much. I’m hoping like the app is already done. And then they like split it by the class. Like you guys are doing the paella. Yeah, paella. She said it like that the other day by asking. Yes, we’ve done a paella cooking class before. So I feel like hopefully we can skip that part. Like we pick different. But yeah, we don’t want that. This set is from Fifth. This is Elena’s new dress that she bought rock and roll in France. And we’re ready to eat some courses. [Music] You you guys I don’t even I I don’t even know how much I can share. There’s no words for the cooking class that we just experienced. Let me preface. Food amazing. Staff amazing. So sweet. Wine amazing. Unlimited wine. Everything was awesome. Okay. The guests that we I couldn’t film them because some of them were children. So that’s why I couldn’t film it. But like what can I summarize quickly? They were just unhinged kids. I don’t know. Like I want to give one example. It just started with like the kid volunteering for the first cooking dish being like me I want and we were like oh my god this kid’s going to cook our food and he was cutting and it was like like honestly coming so close to cutting his fingers off. So close Jackie were like this and Elena was just like don’t look. I was like I can’t look. It was so bad. But then he cut a bunch of [ __ ] He they’re cooking it. Okay. It’s all fine. They asked him to serve it. I haven’t even talked about this part. This kid had never used pinchers. Tongs. Tongs in his life. Elena had to catch her piece of I had to catch it. She literally had to. But before that, he took a bite out of it. When he was cutting it, he went like this. Like not a bite out of her slice. Like no. A bite out of someone’s slice. Yeah. And he like ate it. So crazy. And then the the lady teaching the class would be like, “Oh, who wants paella? Do you like paella? He’s like, I hate paella. Oh my god, it was so crazy, you guys. And and like honestly, it wasn’t even just him. Like there was his sister and their mom. And then there was another guy who was solo traveling there and like there’s no real odds that they’re going to watch this vlog. But but I’m going to say this next part and I’m not going to give any defining clues. Mom was like, “My daughter’s an amazing singer.” We’re like, “Oh yeah, I crack a joke. She’s cooking pa the daughter. I crack a joke and I’m like, “Sing us a tune.” You should have never opened your mouth. Elena laughed and looked at me and I’m like laughing cuz obviously I’m clearly joking. The mom goes, “She’s amazing singer. Why don’t you sing something?” I’m omitting her name and she’s like, I assume any kid would be like, “No, mom. Oh my god.” She’s like, “Okay, yeah, I’ll sing something.” We’re like, but then she starts, again, I’m not going to say the song cuz I don’t want to give any identifying facts away, but she picks a like very popular top 40 song. She just starts singing and it’s really hard to hear cuz there’s music playing. Her mom mom goes, “I’m going to pause this one minute.” And she gets up and she taps like the restaurant’s iPad and pauses the music. It’s dead silent there. And her daughter sings us an ac capella song. And she was actually good. She was good. But but we’re while she’s stirring the paella, me and Jack are sitting there being like and her mom’s filming her making paella and singing a song ac capella. And then there’s the random solo traveler with us as well that we’re all just like to do. I’ve never been in that situation my life. Oh my god. She was good though. Not making fun of her singing. It was just the scenario. It’s just so funny. But overall, I would recommend going to that class cuz the ceviche divine. The paella was good. But the ceviche was still my favorite out of all the things. It was so good. I love the Spanish pancake, too. That was made by our omelette. Spanish omelette. Sorry. That was made by our boy. Our boy. Don’t say that. Why? It’s illegal. What’s wrong with the boy? Ours. I don’t think it’s illegal. I might I think it’s not good. I might or might not leave that in. We’ll see. You can probably hear it my voice, but I’m powering through. It’s fine. I am wearing a similar outfit to yesterday, but I bought these Adidas shorts. We’ve done a lot of shopping today. I bought these shorts cuz I thought they looked so cute. You can’t really see in this light, but they’re like this. I thought they looked really cute with the top and let’s see if you can see. They’re like a burgundy color. And I have to shoot these glasses today that are like kind of purpley. So, I thought they were really cute with the top. Anyways, let me show you what I bought cuz I’m really excited. Thing I purchased today was nose spray and this like so gross mucus helping stuff, which honestly helped so much. Then the second thing we bought is Alena and I both bought these prints from this place called my uncle. She bought this one called Desert France. So cute. We were joking that this is Lance. She’s going to put that in her bathroom. And then I bought this one cuz Jordan loves Japan. So I thought it was like a cute little gift to give him. But I do want to put this one in our bathroom if it fits our frame. Lance and I both bought some My Orin salt. It’s like cork top. I don’t want to unwrap it with a little spoon. And then I’m so excited about the next item. So, I tried on these rings at the store this morning, one of the first stores we went to, and I was like, “Oh, I love these. These are like right up my alley of things that I love.” And then the one silver one didn’t fit properly. And I thought about them all day cuz they were kind of expensive. It like 60 bucks per ring, but like I love them so much. So, I was like, “If it’s meant to be, maybe they’ll fit. Like, maybe my fingers were swollen. I don’t know. We’ll stop on the way home to the hotel.” So, we stopped and I asked the girl there. I was like, “Can you make this one fit?” Cuz it it’s an open back. But it was so stiff that I couldn’t bend it myself. Also didn’t want to unless I was buying it. So she was like, “Oh, let me see if I can do it.” So she brought out a a ring sizer. It’s blurry now. Great. So the gold one on my middle finger there fit perfectly. The silver one was the one that had the issue and she stretched it out for me on a ring sizer. And look at that stack. They’re so good. I love them. I’m obsessed. It was expensive at like €140, but it’ll be worth it cuz I wear my rings all the time. So, I will not get sick of these or regret buying these. They’re so cute. I love the stack together. I love the like bulge. I love that they’re mixed metal. I can wear them apart. I can wear them together. I think they look so good with my bangles and stuff. So, I’m going to try my hot mango candy from yesterday. We ate the rest for breakfast. Don’t ask questions why we had candy for breakfast. Did we sleep in and miss breakfast that we paid for here? Yeah, we did. So, we needed to make two. It’s really good. I don’t find it spicy at all. Little kick though. Like you can taste the spice, right? Yeah. Now I can. Yeah. It’s good though. I like it. Also got one that looks like a big pepper. I don’t know if it’s actually Try it. Oh, it is. Mine is spicy after after effect. No, this is just candy. I’m wearing my outfit I bought in can. Your suitcase looks so messy. It’s the part of the trip where I go tight. Yeah, I I’m wearing this thing. Let me show you in the mirror. This it’s a romper. I bought it in can from that store. The same top I was wearing today is from the same store. And it’s deep V halter neck shorts. So, it’s a skirt vibe, but it kind of looks like a dress from the front. And then look at the back. It’s so cute. It has like a braid down the back and then it ties around the waist. It’s like this chocolate brown. So, this is what I’m wearing to dinner tonight. Thank you to Iberia Airlines for paying for this outfit. While Elena gets ready, let me show you. I bought this shirt for George. I was so inspired by the way the men dress here that I want him to dress like them. So, that’s the only way I could do it is if I buy him stuff. So, it’s just like this long sleeve linen top that I got oversized cuz that’s the vibe here. And then I got him these shorts cuz I’m always on his case about his shorts. I hate them. Every time he puts them on, he’s like, “I know you hate these shorts, but I’m going to wear them.” And he has no other shorts. So, I got him some like baggy denim ones that are cool. And these are from Burksha. Berska. Berska. Berska. This is from like a random store. There’s such good shopping here in Palama, by the way. Save all your money for shopping here. Also, my underwear is here. It’s clean though. And then I bought him these bathing suit bottoms from H&M cuz they were on sale and they’re cute. I like the color. I think it’ll look good on his skin tone. I’m such a good girlfriend. And I got my man this cutie little bathing suit bottoms, little blue stripe, some little lobsters embroidered. She want wanted to get him something that made him look like a Hampton’s brush kid. A trust fun kid. Trust funkin. I got a few other things from Burk. I bought this baby tea that’s chocolate brown cuz it was so cheap and so cute. More underwear. And then I bought this white tank from Berska as well to wear home tomorrow. And then a crew neck from H&M because our sweaters are disgusting. So if you watched the last few Europe vlogs from me in Atlanta, then you would know, you would understand. But also in the Japan blog, we talk about it in one of them. So you could bring two sweaters from the start and not touch one and be like, “That’s my flight home sweater.” So that it doesn’t get gross. But being in suitcase, it’s just always a gross. Yeah. It smells musty. Funny enough, at H&M, they had this wear that says can 1980 laur. It’s very cute. So, we were just there. I’ll pretend like I bought this tourist shop, but really it’s from H&M. At least it’s a good keepsake. Yeah. And she wanted something that was like something of someone something here. Yeah. Bracelets for my niece, baby booties for my sister-in-law who’s expecting. Um, this one’s so cute. I’ll take it out to show this. Oh my god. Yeah. So, so it’s like a music box and it the lady at the store told me this is a classic like Mayorin lullabi. It’s called Luna L Pruna and it it’s so cute. So, that’s for my nephew. Her nephew’s what? One he’s okay. This nephew is about to turn two. This is for my new nephew that is not born yet. This is for my niece who is five. And then this is for my other nephew who is three. Such a good aunt. Yeah. Fun aunt. I have so many nieces and nephews. My sister hasn’t even started having kids yet. No, you’re I know. Bless. She’s going to have to bring home like six gifts eventually. She does this on every trip. I need to get something for my nieces and nephews. She spent so much time picking the things out. What a fun auntie. If you’re coming to Mora, I would recommend spending a few days in Palma. We really liked it here, but it is a complete different vibe to Port Soy. The thing with coming to Palma though, it’s a lot closer to the closer to the Kalas, but it just depends what vibe you want. I feel like we got to enjoy the culture more in Porto. So here’s very touristy. Portoy was like beach resort town kind of vibes which was really fun. It was a lot of like families and restaurants. A little pricey I feel like but so like vacation. Yeah, vacation. And like every time you go out for dinner there in Port Soya specifically your views of the water, you get a sunset viewer. Here it’s like town. It it reminds us so much of Barcelona. It’s a city and there’s so many streets and everything. So it is really cool. But whatever you do, obviously rent a car and then you can do all of them. And Porto Soy is obviously right next to Soy. So if you want to see that, that was also really cute and worth it. So basically, I think you need a full week in May or if not more to get the full experience. We’re just sitting here looking at the menus, talking about what we’re going to share, and Elena tried to scroll on the menu. She did that with her. We’re We’re speechless right now. That’s crazy. Welcome to my Mallorca travel vlog! Join me and my bestie Alannah as we explore around the beautiful coastlines. We spent 7 days here total and I completely fell in love with the island. Its charming towns (Port de Soller, Deia, Santanyi and Soller) really stole my heart. We stayed in Port de Soller, and it was everything. It had amazing food and culture and it also had beautiful beach front. Definitely plan to do day trips to Soller and Deia and make sure you take the tram!
We ate A LOT, as we should on vacation. I mean is it really a European summer if you don’t eat your way through your destination? We had some really amazing food all over the island. I made sure to pin the locations for you guys incase you are looking for some of the best restaurants in Mallorca.
The beaches..the cala’s were so breathtaking. Some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in such a small area. It’s easy to drive to them all and we made the most of our rental car while there and visited quite a few.
We ended our trip in Palma, and although I preferred Port de Soller, I still would recommend spending some time in Palma. The shopping and culture are still there but it reminds me of a mini Barcelona.
