Going from our China home to our Canada home /老外退休回中国的真实感受

So anyway, this uh we’re getting ready to go home actually. Uh we washed our car today. We parked it outside and it rained on there and uh we’re leaving not tomorrow but the next day. So we’re heading back home. We’re getting ready tomorrow. We’re going to cover our car and then hopefully before we come back next year, we can buy this parking spot and BYD will in charge uh uh put a charger right here on this wall. That’s what we want. Hopefully next year when we come back, we’ll be able to have a charger here. This is where I charge my car right here in this little port here. So hopefully Oh, I should leave that open. So So it did rain on our car outside. We just brought it in. And so I brought a towel here and I’m just drying it off. So we want no moisture on our car though. So I’m drying it. Because we already wash car, but it’s Yeah, we did a dry car. Drying it off as best as I can. Careful. We’ll leave it for 24 hours and then we’ll cover tomorrow. Cover. Yeah, we cover tomorrow. Not covering it today. No. here in 9 months. So, when we come back here, I’m hoping this is where we’re going to park our car. We’re going to try buying this spot here, and they’re going to hopefully BYD will put a charger here before we come back here next year. We’ll be able to charge our car right here inside. And uh yeah, we couldn’t be more happy with their car. $10 to charge their car. And we’ve been driving it around. It was down to under 40%. I think it had like 30 38% and it didn’t even cost 50 R&B. Less than 10 Canadian dollars. So, it is so economical to drive this thing here. So, we couldn’t be more pleased. Uh yeah, one year come back. Yeah. Well, 9 months we’ll be back, baby. So, we’re getting ready to go home. We’re actually going home tomorrow. And uh we washed the car. Uh we got it fully charged and now we’re going to cover it and then we’re going to come back in 9 months and uh see how everything is. So hopefully when we come back here in 9 months I hope we still have like 70% power. We have 100% power now and uh we’ll just see what happens. So our beautiful little car is all cleaned. Yeah, we need to cover the car now. And I think you find out the mirror here. Yeah, there’s the mirror here. Mirror here. The back of the car here. Yeah. Then you can figure out Yes, I do. go. Yes. draped over there. Oh, I got it. It’s pretty easy. Like these and these powers are not very strong. At least this one’s not. But they they bought this for a car for us. We didn’t buy the car by bought it for us. And it’s inside underground parking. So easy. where the mirror will go in my old CD for me to double check. Block that’s pretty quick and easy. It only takes a minute. Pretty quick and easy. Uh there’s our car all set away for 9 months when we come back. We’re within the line. That’s good on the line. We’re within the line. Nobody will park this one. So nobody for for 9 months, I think. Yeah, they’ll park over there. Okay, let’s go. So it’s it’s so easy. It takes like less than 5 minutes and they cover it up and uh keep the car nice and dustfree and everything like that there. So see you n months. We’ll see you on uh April 4th next year. Let’s see how it is. So, okay. Okay. Let’s go, babe. Let’s go. Pretty quick and easy. There’s still construction here. Oh, decoration here, huh? Okay, let’s go. There. There we go. Covered up as good as we can. This is one great big big blanket here. So, we’re just going to put some weight on top of here in a few places so that if we do get some wind going through here, hopefully it uh will uh circulate. We should we should be able to come back here and just take this off and it’ll be nice and clean underneath. Do you have tie something? No, we don’t need to tie. We just need to set this on top of here. And we’re going to do our beds and our sofas and our air conditioners and the TV tables and our fridge. Two more of these. Two more of this for like this. Yes. Yes. Yes. Cover as good as we can. This is we want to do. So this air conditioning this one, this air condition already covered. Yeah, we already covered. Let’s cover this bed, baby. And then we can show people this bed. Okay. Air conditioning covered. Ah, no. Recover bit. No, it’s not already gone. Well, we can put one more on this end here. Oh, I’m just uh covering everything up here. We’re covering the air conditioner up here real good. And I’m just pinning it here. So, we’re going to leave this door open. Open a little bit. Just no open door. Well, we’re only going to leave the the window open about this much here. about maybe that much there while we’re gone. But we’re going to tie this back here Macau Hong Kong Bridge port here this morning. But we’re traveling in style when we when we’ve got so many bags and we’re going home like this here. We get a really nice big van like uh hey sweetheart. We’ll do what we do. So anyway, I just wanted to show you we’re riding in style here. And it was Yeah, very nice. And for about a half an hour, 40 minute drive, it’s costing like $35 or something like that. Not very much money Canadian. Less than 170 R&B. This isn’t the first time we’ve been in one of these vans. And that’s what the name the name is. Ro R O E weigh bridgeuh high port goes with us right to the airport. So let’s go. We took a DD from our house to the Xuhai Macau Hong Kong bridge. Now we’re going on one of the world’s longest bridges again. Mhm. And we checked in there. We could have taken a bus and it was going to cost close to 500, but then our bags were going to be more and we had to wait. And here we got like a beautiful little MercedesBenz uh showing vehicle here, darling. We got a beautiful little MercedesBenz a multi-purpose $460 R&B. So it’s less than $100. So that’s like 80. Okay. Yes. three uh three * six. So 80 18. So less than $500 anyway. 46. And it’s only going to take us 30 minutes. We’re going to be on the other side here. So nice dry little tunnel. That’s what it’s under the water. We’re going under the water right now. Yep. So after water. Yep. Yep. Yep. Anyway, yeah, nice and dry underneath here. I say that every time. We’re in Hong Kong airport here and we’re flying uh premium economy again. Uh going home at Cafe A Pacific. So, the line was shorter checking in troublefree. Very good. Now, we just got to go through uh departure uh checking here. Drinking my last Coca-Cola and then we’ll go inside and find a good restaurant. Let’s go. This is Wow. How much? 13. 138. 130. 138. $100 R&B so far. 500 little. Yeah. 500. So anyway, the wife got a little cappuccino here. Putting some brown sugar in there. Nice. And I’m having a Stella beer. Stella. So what beer? Well, you can buy this in Canada. Stella. Stella. Did he? But no, I did. I did try. Yeah, but it’s They don’t have Chinda or Budweiser. So Stella it is. finally they found the coffee she likes. [Music] Oh, I’m excited to see my baby. My puppy, my sweet puppy and my daughter there. Oh, they’re and their granddaughter. Lady, Kyra, I’m home. Mama, daddy, mama, come home soon. We almost use 1,000 500 700 800. I remember when we went to Costa Rica, I think, and we were at Los Angeles airport. I was paying 1313 American dollars, like close 20 Canadian dollars for a beer. 20. Close. But it probably like 100 more of it. Oh, I paid a lot of money. I drank about six beer that day. 45 46 Hong Kong dollars for two beer and a cappuccino. It’ll be a little over $40 Canadian for two beer and a coffee. Okay, I’ll go. Yeah, whatever. Airport and got a a Whopper double Whopper cheese bacon burger. But here in Hong Kong, you can buy 90 Hong Kong dollars, whatever. I don’t know. It’s not cheap, but still beer at Burger King. This burger, it’s a big ass burger. Look how big that thing is. Thank you. Burger. I’m going eat cream. 200. Oh. N 200 here. The April where we use clothes,000. Oh, 1,000 more for for food. More more 1,000 for food. Hong Kong dollar. So it’s it’s less than 200 Canadian. Oh, two beer. Now use a baker and two beer. Four beer two there and two there. 1,000 more. We are in April to eat 1,000 more Hong Kong money. 200 Canada money. 200 Canada money. Not too bad. 200 Canada. You and me always eat 200. But not like too many food. But airplane food is always beer is always expensive. beard. November April beards lighting tower walk like that big ready to go. There you can see the tail of our plane there. And uh oh, my sweetheart’s charging up her phone here a little bit. There she is. So, I’ll go check out our plane here. So, we got about 45 minutes or something like that there before they’re going to let us on our plane. So, departure time 1555 Vancouver forecast. So, this should be our plane sitting here right here. There’s our plane. Can’t get a real good shot of it because the catwalk’s in the way here. Maybe Hong Kong airport’s a big airport. But here’s our plane. This is a bird that’s going to take us home. You can see a Cath a Pacific airplane taking off over here. It seems like this whole end of the airport is all Cafe a Pacific, but Cafe a Pacific’s a Hong Kong based airline. So, a lot of Cafe A Pacific here. So, Hong Kong’s a big airport, but there’s a lot more there’s a lot more bigger airports here in China. time. Yeah, we got about 1 hour then we take off. So, we probably got about a half an hour to wait and then we’ll go. I just had a little look at here. But see, it’s all cafe a Pacific everywhere here. You look out here, the airplanes are all cafe Pacific. So, we got about a half an hour and then they’re going to let us on the plane here. So, wife’s charging her phone. And uh where are so here we’re standing in the premium economy line. The business line is over there. Like that’s first first class, the most expensive ticket you can buy. We’re in the second most expensive ticket you can buy. It’s a very short line. And here back here is the economy. It’s a very long line there. So here we are. We’re on we’re just taking off from Hong Kong right away. The last time we took off from Vancouver to to Hong Kong, they gave us champagne. Oh, yeah. There’s not very good champagne. And I’m not expecting this beer to be very good. But still, we got on here and I asked for two beer. One for my wife and me. They gave me two beer. We’re still sitting here. So, double for me. Oh, yeah. Good to be me. Now, what kind of I’m not expecting very much out of this beer, but beer is beer. Once you drank 2, three, four, five, six beer. This is number six. Trying is good. Okay. Funny tasting beer, but it’s okay. After I drank two, three, four, five, or six of these, they’ll taste pretty good water. Just just get a beer. Five beer. Huh? 18. 19. Yeah. I was drinking beer in the airport. I think I drank like five of them. 90. I I’m trying. How many? Well, in in the I was paying 65 for them last two beer because I just buy them out of like a Coke machine. But we’re sitting in premium economy seats here. My wife and I are just sitting two seats beside each other. The hallways in between and in behind us is economy seats. We got lots of room. like it’s worth the especially when you’re spending I think it’s 12 hours and 20 minutes on this uh flight here to go to Vancouver. It’s definitely worth the money. Can you probably Oh yeah, you got plenty of sleep here. You got like four seats in the middle and then two seats on that side and two seats on this side. And in the front there is business class and I didn’t really pay too much attention to that there. That’s out of my league there, but still pretty nice. Uh, but here is uh definitely a lot more comfortable than premium or economy. So, here we are. Premium economy sit beside my sweetheart. Got a couple of beer. So, people are still boarding here and but like I said, we’ve already got a couple of beer before we’ve even taken off here. And uh it’s black in the baggage. Oh, Betsy opening the compartment so that items do not fall out. Cheers. Cheers, my love. So, anyway, I’m going to try getting up here and show you a little bit more here before we take off here and we’ll see. Byebye. round trip tickets for this here was $10,700 Canadian. So the the seats are not cheap. Oh, but it’s so much more roomier. But back here back here is economy. And I’ll take a little tour back here soon once everybody gets on. But it’s a it’s a lot less uh comfort back here. Here you got comfort. It’s not as much comfort as first class, but still it is very comfortable. So anyway, baby, let’s go home. We’re going home. So here we are on our airplane here. Here’s business class, first class here. very posh, you know, private seats and stuff like that. Here, here’s premium economy where uh you know, you got two, four, and two here. My wife and I are sitting right here. Hey, sweetie. There’s my wife here in the seats here. And then here’s economy back here where it’s three, four, and three. So, and it it’s continues on like that all the way to the back. So, we’re ready to take off here right away. Looks like there’s uh two layers of business economy like the first class in front there and then there’s one section of premium economy where we are and then economy economy. So, getting ready to take off here right away. Hong Kong 27 minutes. [Music] Hi. Hi. You’re in my grandpa. Yes. Well, now it’s called aerodynamics. I hope you don’t. Whoa. That’s my favorite color. 1. Alcohol is bad for one's health. There was a recent news article that said that alcohol is really damaging to one's body. The people in China also love to smoke. Does anyone in China know that smoking is actually bad for one's health? I'm glad that in Canada, we ban smoking indoors.

  2. I would thought u come back during summer time and not winters time. Lol but make sense with more holidays like thanksgiving, Xmas and western New Year
