Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences. Simply The Best
now if you’ve been looking at our other videos You’ll see one aspect of Valencia which um is quite nice which is the old part of Valencia the facades and how the center of the city look like um but you’ve probably not ever seen anything quite like this now this is the new opera house and it’s part of the city of Arts and Sciences and this video is going to tell you more about the city of Arts and Sciences some nice little pictures and some nice little commentaries now the city of Val and science is like something that’s been dropped out of the sky and it’s just like the biggest imagination of any architect that you could ever hope for and that’s what it is um Santiago calava who decided design the city of Arts and Sciences was basically given a brief and the brief said just do what you want and we’ll give you the money for it and that’s what he did so the city of Arts and Science is totally in congruous compared with anything else that’s in Valencia or anywhere but it’s the biggest Millennium Project rather not the biggest Millennium Project maybe but the best Millennium Project in the world and of course just like all good Millennium projects um it’s 2009 at the moment and it’s not quite finished yet but that’s what good about Millennium projects isn’t it they’re projects they’re not just things that are there for a year like the dome in London the city BS and Sciences fantastic project well worth a visit even just to take photos so as I said I defy you to take a bad photo here very very difficult if you can send it to me send it to me at greyhunt gmail.com and say Here’s a bad photo I took at the city of art societ it’s impossible I mean just look at it the piesta resistance of Valencia if you don’t like this you don’t like anything
