Hike the Camino de Santiago with us -San Sebastián – Getaria: Wild Rain, Wrong Turns & Pilgrim Magic

Join us as we walk the Camino de Santiago – Del Norte version
Day One is everything we could hope for – even with rain and storms.
We start our month-long Camino in San Sebastián, a city of sunshine, pintxos, and txakoli poured from shoulder height. After days of exploring, our pilgrim passports are stamped and before dawn, we set off into rain and darkness toward Getaria.

This first stage to Getaria is wild and beautiful: wrong turns in the dark, a message painted “There is hope for the hopeless,” waves crashing over the promenade, and the statue of Juan Sebastián Elcano waiting at the end.
Every pilgrim starts somewhere, and this is where our Camino begins.
Watch for:
• San Sebastián food & txakoli wine culture
• The first Camino del Norte stage to Getaria
• Rain, wrong turns & real pilgrim moments
• Basque coastal beauty and hidden kindness
