We Explored Europe’s Biggest Palace! Royal Palace of Madrid Tour 🇪🇸

Welcome to our Royal Palace of Madrid Vlog! 🇪🇸 In this video, we’re taking you inside the Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real de Madrid), the largest royal palace in Western Europe. We LOVE a Royal Palace! If you’re planning your Madrid itinerary, this tour is an absolute must-watch!

We explore the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, starting with the grand Main Staircase leading to the Halberdiers’ Hall and Columns Hall. The level of detail in this palace is incredible, especially in the historic Charles III’s Rooms. He loved a bit of gold.

We show you the most stunning rooms in the palace, including the Gala Dining Room (one of the most beautiful banquet halls we’ve ever seen!), the unique Silver Room and the Porcelain and Crystal Room. A major highlight was visiting the Royal Chapel and the Crown Room, where you can see the symbols of the Spanish Monarchy up close (but behind glass!)

We finished our tour in the magnificent Throne Room, famous for its red velvet walls and golden lions, before checking out the gift shop for souvenirs. Did we pick up any interior design tips for our own house? You’ll just have to watch to find out!

Is the Royal Palace of Madrid the best palace in Europe? Watch to see our full tour!

  1. Really interesting that you're able to film / take photos as you sometimes find they discourage it in places like this. I've seen it from the outside but didn't go in, it looks beautiful. Shame it was so crowded on your visit.
