The 2020 vintage was particularly challenging, marked by the pandemic and an exceptionally dry summer. However, the September rains allowed for a slow and steady ripening of the Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, resulting in a balanced, aromatic blend with excellent color intensity.
Tempranillo brings the finesse and elegance characteristic of great classic wines, while Garnacha, sourced from the La Pedriza vineyard, adds richness, freshness, and a smooth yet complex palate. The result is a Viña Ardanza that remains true to its identity, with a notably vibrant freshness in this vintage.
