Maybe it was the tree hugs within the first mile; or the little photo shoot at the trailhead; it could’ve been all the wildflowers I stopped to catch my breath at, or the TWO foot soaks I had that afternoon-whichever ONE of those cause clearly not all, it wasn’t until 6:30PM I arrived to camp after stepping foot on the High Sierra Trail at 8:15AM on July 1. ☺️
I just started looking into this trail and what it would take to do it. I’ve been on a lot of hikes but never backpacked overnight or solo. I’m so excited to watch your journey! Thanks for sharing ! ☀️
