What Eating Pintxos in San Sebastián is REALLY Like 🇪🇸 (Pinxtos Tour)

SAN SEBASTIÁN PINTXOS TOUR 🇪🇸 | Eating My Way Through Basque Country (Spain Food Guide)

San Sebastián, Spain is known as one of the best food cities in the world—and today we’re experiencing it the way locals do… on a pintxos tour through the famous Old Town (Parte Vieja).

In this video, we visit multiple pintxos bars in the Basque Country, going from spot to spot, grabbing a drink, trying different bites, and experiencing the culture that makes San Sebastián a true food destination.

We stopped at some of the most popular and well-known pintxos bars in San Sebastián, including:

📍 Restaurante Kalaberri
📍 Borda Berri
📍 Gandarias
📍 TrikuHarri Taberna Jatetxea

Along the way, we try a variety of traditional and modern pintxos, including the famous Gilda (the original pintxo), Basque cider (sidra), and even montaditos—small sandwich-style bites that are a little more filling but still part of the pintxos experience.

If you’re planning a trip to San Sebastián or looking for the best food in Spain, this pintxos tour will give you a real look at what to expect—from the crowded bars and standing-room-only experience to the incredible flavors that make this region so special.

🍢 WHAT ARE PINTXOS?

Pintxos (sometimes spelled pinchos) are small bites typically served on bread and often held together with a skewer. Unlike tapas, pintxos are especially popular in the Basque Country and are a key part of the local food culture.

Instead of sitting down for a full meal, locals hop from bar to bar, trying different pintxos and drinks along the way—making it one of the most fun and social dining experiences in Spain.

  1. Hello, I am a regular viewer of your YouTube channel. I always see your video quality is very good and you have quite a more subscribers. But due to lack of SEO, the videos are not getting that amount of views. If the videos are properly SEO, the views will increase several times. Thank You.

  2. Locals don't call Apple cider "Sidra", we call it "Sagardo" (literally "Applewine") in Basque.
BTW, now is the ciderhouse season, a great oportunity to experience a real Basque experience.
