Cirque Peak via Trailmaster Peak, Sierra Nevada, California, June 2026.
The hike started from Cottonwood Lakes Campground. I then went to Cottonwood Pass, hiked Trailmaster Peak first, and then topped Cirque Peak. The views from the top of Cirque Peak are awesome. One gets to see Langley, New Army Pass, the Cottonwood Lakes, and Whitney and Russell in the background. Great weather, with little wind, and lots of mosquitoes.
