And before we knew it we were caught in a a tourist web trap yes and I knew it from the jump I was like okay but uh he was funny and he was like calling Brian a bad boy and was he was like take pictures take pictures so we knew we were going

To have to tip I had I’m glad that we had some change so we gave it to him and he was happy with that um yeah yeah it was very interesting well Lauren just said it best you want to repeat that no I don’t want to repeat

It okay never mind no know I’ll say it I love Buckingham Palace but this is so much bigger so much more elaborate at least from the outside from what you can tell yeah architecturally it’s a little more all inspiring than Buckingham Palace re yeah there’s so much more to it

Things we’ve been doing on this trip you know yesterday we were literally on rowboats and today we’re going through like crazy trippy lights you never know what you’re going to get which is kind of why we’re doing this whole thing exactly two hours later very cool to see police on horses

Wow that is the best angria I’ve ever had we decided to come to this nice little place with fire next to it to get a nice dinner which we haven’t had in a bit um so we’re going to splurge a little bit and just enjoy our last night

Here in Madrid I will also say that this beer is amazing it’s very sweet it’s called an Amstel rler I mean I’m sure it’s probably pretty common I’ve never had it but um yeah we’re just enjoying some delicious drinks going to have some hopefully delicious food relax like

Lauren said last night in Madrid because tomorrow uh is another travel day to Barcelona so let’s just soak it in we’re dying to know about what fat Spider-Man is up to on Instagram and that might sound mean but this literally says fat Spider-Man yeah he left us his business

The train figure that out of course he’ll be with us but yeah I don’t don’t think th this one should be pretty straightforward right that’s what we said last time just get to the train station it’s just the train and then to the hostel it’s not a flight it’s not um

Well I guess the last one was just a bus and that was bad so no the last one was a flight but this one is like this one is literally I mean it’s like later in the day so we have plenty of time to check out to like prepare to get there

Madrid continues to be a strange, strange city. Our third and final day here began by getting snared in a tourist web with a fat (his word, not ours!) Spider-Man in Plaza Mayor. Then, after a bit of wandering — seeing the Royal Palace along the way — we explored the immersive IKONO museum filled with trippy rooms and a hilariously fun ball pit.

Our time in Madrid may be over, but we’ll always remember all the bizarre things we saw here.

On to Barcelona!
