It is true what the American said about officials…..That is the classic "Do You Know Who I am" syndrome that certain Thai's have. It is weird but they seem to have a large ego & tiny confidence. It even goes as far as normal people who for the first time in their lives can afford a new car or truck. Ever see how Red Plates drive? You know why? "Do You Know Who I am" syndrome 😆 It is a caste system so it is also their maybe one & only chance to act that way. But….we know the majority of Thai people are always very nice & sweet & that is what is reality
Yes, it's about the females. Many White dudes travel for the sex industry. This is one of the reasons why Thailand is the #1 in tourism in Southeast Asia. Women there are for sales and are treated like piece of meat. It's a good thing that the Thai government is cracking down on the westerners who are there to destroy the Asian culture.

Pattaya doesn't have the nickname the City of Sins for nothing. 😂🤣😂 In the main it's the place males young and old go for a fun time, there's no denying it just most won't admit it. It's 'cousin' surely has to be Patong Beach Phuket however that does in fact attract many more tourists of the fairer sex plus couples. Pattaya does though indeed offer everything else other than partying and Thai women however if its a decent beach apart from cheaper accommodation, quality Tai food and the party life that is what the tourists are looking for then it is recommended to stay in Jomtien which offers all of that however the women on a much much smaller scale so much more laid back and relaxing place to spend most of your day and is only a matter of minutes away and accessable to Pattaya by using the local baht buses (also known as songthaews) for only 10 baht. They operate on a set route joining the two places. So its rest and relaxation in Jomtien, a trip into Pattaya for a crazy night out then return to the accommodation in Jomtien to sleep it off.
