Mountains, Lakes, and Rocky 4X4 Trails – What more can you ask for?
In this episode Rob rolls out with Matt of @OzarkOverlandAdventures and Zach & Jess to explore an absolutely stunning area of the Sierra Nevada Mountains
Beautiful area !! I did a bit of research on Snake Lake's name origin. It seems there are several in that area called Snake Lake. It could have been due to the many snakes that are native to that area. But one thing it said was that it might be due to the shape of the lake. Back in Michigan, one of the lakes there is called Oxbow Lake, named because it is shaped like an Oxbow. So that could be the origin of that Snake Lake. Hopefully 😱😂 Also was curious about the evergreen trees there. So beautiful. These are a list of trees that grow in that region. Jeffrey pine, ponderosa pine, white fir, red fir, lodgepole pine, sugar pine, incense cedar, and Sierra juniper. Great commentary !!
If you would have turned right after getting milkshakes there was a Chevron service station 5 minutes away. I’m glad you could get the code answered. I’m in the market for a code reader also but can’t decide which one.
