Backpacking one of Yosemite’s most underrated hikes in the summer of 2025. Dog Lake Trail to Young Lakes takes you through some incredible scenery. Starting in Tuolumne Meadows, the trail passes through dense forest, lush alpine meadows and sweeping granite mountains. It ends in some of the most beautiful lakes in the Sierras. I tried my best to document the experience.
